Does anyone know how long it takes to recieve PPC request letter from the Canadian Embassy in ksa ? It's been 3 weeks and we have not received anything in the mail . In the email we received they said to wait up to 4 weeks but it takes 14 days to process PPC clearance certificate . Has anyone been in the same situation ?
Should I contact ADVO about this ?

hello everyone,

I am in abu dhabi at the moment and my husband has already relocated to Canada last Feb 2016 through Work Permit

Through his company's lawyer in Canada, they help us submit an application for SOWP (Spouse Open Work Permit) last April 13 online.

I am frequently checking the processing times, however I am not sure if its correct that I select the Spousal Sponsorship which shows 13 months or Work permit which shows 6 months.

could someone please clarify the correct processing times for my application.

The spouse sponsorship is for those who are Canadian citizens or PR applying to sponsor their spouses as a permanent resident in Canada

Yes of course. Can you please guide me on how to?

Click on the link to open the sheet. Scroll down to the bottom. Add you username to the next blank line after the last name. Go across and fill in your dates. The spreadsheet will format the dates slightly different than what is shown (it's okay - I can fix them later). Hopefully that helps. If you are having troubles, just post your exact dates and I will fill them in for you.

Hi All,

I've checked the Process Times again for Spousal Application. A few days ago, I saw the CIC Website showed that Spouse Visa Application from ADVO was brought down from 17 Months to 13 Months.

I checked it today and it now shows 12 Months.

Thoughts?

If you notice as well...they say the processing time INCLUDES the time to review / approve the sponsorship (previous it was separate) so overall the wait time for applicants is only 10 months.

I think the wait time depends largely upon the application though as I know some people have been processed rather quickly (we received PPR seven months after we applied although it took them a full month to process the visa) and others have been waiting much longer (insha'allah they will receive good news soon)
