Dear Senior,

I have one question here. I am about to apply spousal visa application. I have no plan to appoint representative. Is their any need to submit "use of Representative form" along with application? OR I will not fill it but send it along with application?

Pleas advise.

I recommend

1) put N/A beside the box on the checklist
2) on the form, draw a line across it and write "Not applicable. Did not use representative" and include it with your package.

Why? Because there have been a few people who have had their package returned becuase this form was not included - EVEN WHEN THEY DID NOT USE A REPRESENTATIVE AND MARKED N/A on the checklist. There is someone at CIC making a mistake so better to cover all avenues to prevent it.

I need help with this matter. If anyone can assist me or give me their experience . my wife was requested to submit additional document within a month and seven days. She couldn't submit the additional document on time. I have sent an email on my wife's behalf to ADVO demonstrating the difficulties getting the document done in the time frame and we asked for more time. My wife has not received reply back yet . My question is how would we know, if we were given additional days or not ? has anyone been in the same situation before ? could you please share your experience.

Should we at least change his mailing address to one that is in the UAE where he lives? It's good idea to intimate current residency address to immigration.
yes PPR they will send through email id, if no email id then they choose to inform you with current mailing address.
I guess it will take three working days to show you in ecas.

How long does ADVO take to process the visa?
My spouse's medical expires tomorrow but have not yet sent the passport for PR visa. Any guess as to how long will be visa be for before its expiry?

They say 10 working days from when they receive the passport.

I received my passport request on November 11th and my documentation says the visa will expire March 4th so I assume I have to "land" before then.

No, I was processed through ADVO.

I haven't been asked to cancel my UAE residency but we left the UAE for Canada in June 2015 and cancelled our visas before we left.
