Kathkath & zbaby: Yesterday my eCas status has changed to "Decision Made", is that just a late update for the PPR, or did they process the passport? Any ideas? I'm in Kuwait now and hoping and praying we get the passport shortly so my wife can accompany me back to Canada on October 16th. Thanks.

Hi haldashti sorry been busy lately, my ecas was changed to decision made few days after I sent my passport to ADVO, i guess it's just late update from embassy. ADVO reveived my passport on sept 9 and they attached rhe visa sept 16.
Try to send an email to embassy and tell them ure situation, they may not reply but they will work on it, they never reply to my email.

Hi haldashti, it maybe late update, sorry can't help you with cnfidence as i am really not sure how advo works except passport processing, as my case was processed at LVO.

They haven't asked me but i cancelled it before itself and shared the cancellation doc with the advo later through courier. then they called me and asked me the date of leaving country i told them i have to leave before my status goes over stay n i am waiting for my passport so they stamped my visa on the same date 21sep but i received passport later on 30th Sep.

thank you so much.. means if i will send passport without cancellation of gulf visa it will not be a problem, once i got visa i will resign and cancel my visa here in uae.

We are both living in KSA and in the email they have asked for 'Evidence of your sponsors intent to resume residence to Canada'
Is the only way to go about is to cancel the visa and show them proof or can we provide something else? Can we send the passport with an explanation and cancel the KSA visa after we receive the the Canadian visa?

The email says that her visa will be valid till April 2016.

In the email they asked for police clearance, 2 passport pictures and evidence such as canceled visa, final exit or any other document the we wish to provide for intent to move back
