Spouse sponsorship Abu Dhabi office

Hey guys quick question, the abu dhabi office asked for my husbands passport, 2 photos and proof I'm stilll residing in Canada. Now they have received this all since August 10th 2014. I have emailed them several times just asking if they received it or not, we didn't get anything back and no updates online. I just want an idea of how Long they can keep his passport for? My husband is a little worried because getting a new passport is a little difficult for him to get. If you could help that would be great!

The fact that they have requested your husband's passport means that they are ready to issue the visa. Though it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to issue the visa and send the PP back.

Maybe they are conducting more checks or there must be a backlog. Hang in there and you should hear from them very soon.

May I ask when you submitted your application?

According to the previous time lines of the members, AOR is received within 2-3 months after SA . If we do not hear from them in 2-3 months for AOR or ADR, should we just assume that we are in good books ? What do you guys think ?

Yes that could mean that they have everything they need to process your application. Coz Lonely Wife got ADR 2 months after SA and her application was submitted after March2014apply.

Cant really say though. Wish there was someway we could get inside info. :

i received additional docs request on august 10,2014 from the abudhabi visa office.
they requested
-RQ for applicant
-exit and entry records from the UAE official immigration for the sponsor
-travel history form
-noa, 3 paystubs, tax papers

my medical has expired, so what will be the next step?? ??? ???

Even I cant log into ECAS using my details (I am the applicant) but I can access ECAS using my sponsor's details.

UCI (Unique Client Identification) number is different for you and your wife. Your wife will get a UCI when she receives a correspondence from ADVO.

Hey we submitted the application in January 2013 and they started processing my husbands application in the beginning of October 2013. Till now they have had his passport just over a month and we havnt heard anything.

If you applied in January 2013, you have crossed the average processing time for Abu Dhabi and they should be replying to your emails.

His visa was only valid till his medical date which was 23. Of sep. He has just arrived on the 12 of September, finally. He's here and I'm so grateful to everyone on this site that helped me with answering my questions. Honestly the ppl on here were better help than any lawyer . Good luck to everyone. Think I will hold off for the 90 Day Mark - We most likely have to do a re-medical after the delivery - but lets see what Happens.
