Hello Yassonie55 -

For our submission, we only included my Wife's University Certificates and Transcripts. Were you able to check in your Part 3 Information Guide ( Outland Sponsorship ), for your home country , under this link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp#immigrate , if this is a requirement ?

Anyone who applied in/after April got AOR from Abu Dhabi yet - other than ZZW ? .. Just wondering !

Guys, I want to apply a visit visa. My application is outland.

My wife and son are currently in Canada. She is pregnant and I want to be there with her.
Any one suggest which way is better Online or postal ? and what to you think how much are the chances.

I am based in Saudi Arabia and when I applied last time in 2011 it was rejected. That time I did not submit my immigration application

Hi Impresso,

Nothing till now, waiting patiently for these slow buggers to come back with ADVO acknowledgment.

It would be great to know if someone got their AOR from ADVO in the April/May category.

Most probably, you would not be given the TRV by the Embassy of Canada as you have an open file with CIC but no harm in applying.

Still nothing for us..

I ordered the GCMS notes, and in that, all I can see is that they've looked at my wife's medical and she's passed that. The criminality and other stuff wasn't even started or checked. The last time the file was updated according to the notes was end of May!

Ridiculous....
Sent emails to them too, no response...

Hello kmishal,

I am not sure of the rules and regulation in KSA - but you have strong grounds to visit your family plus if you are working full time I dont see why you wouldn't get a visit visa.

I would apply in person/or at least get an interview to speak to an immigration officer - provide enough evidence that you would return back to KSA and also to prove that your wife is pregnant . Let us know how it goes.

End of MAY ?? That is very surprising - so still criminality check to go - hope they get to it quick. Do you know if the medical check was complete by ADVO or here in Canada ?

Thats Interesting - Check done by ADVO, but no AOR - Perhaps they only send AOR or ADR if they need it or else you move straight to PPR !

Hi Kmishal,

I applied for TRV in Feb 2013 (in-person at the Embassy) and in Sept 2013 (through VFS, Abu Dhabi) and got rejected both times.

My PR application was submitted only in Dec 2013 and in April 2014 I applied for TRV in the Abu Dhabi Embassy (in-person again) and got a 2 year multiple-entry visa to Canada. I included a letter explaining how my TRV got rejected twice and hence we had to travel to another destination to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I also mentioned that we both missed each other at Christmas & New Year and wanted to celebrate Easter together as a family. I specifically mentioned that we had gotten SA and I would return after my holiday to complete the PR process and will not over-stay. At the counter too I begged with the Visa Officer to let me travel to Canada and how I missed my husband and 2 weeks later I got my PP with the visa stamped!

I think you should write to them saying that you want to be with your wife during the pregnancy and show proof that you are currently employed and will return after her delivery.

Good luck!!

Hi Ticallian,

Please can you share when you received the AOR and Sponsorship Approval from Mississuaga so I may update the sheet.

Thanks!

I too think that the ADVO sends an AOR only if they need additional documents submitted. Else PPR is the next step when they are ready to issue the visa.
