My agent is adamant to believe my words.
M also saying the same that 2 different pcc doesnt bother anything.
But he is saying my(husband) pcc doesnot require name of my wife but my my wife does requires.
Nowadays, Some ppl got pcc of wives with husbands' names on it without reissuing.
I also to do the same. I hope i also get it.
This will resolve the issue.

Ans :

1)According to me , wrong information from ur consultant.

2) It is not needed wife name in Husband’s PCC.

3) To include , ur name along with ur wife name , you need to update in Passport and later apply for PCC.

4) When its come to PCC , it is not needed . This is my experience.

- - Since my wife’s name is not included my Passport, she applied locally where currently staying and produced local address proof . Got the PCC without any issue .

Ur wife's passport is from her bachelor time?

- - Yes , She took 9 years back and with her parents details in it . Not updated with Husband name on it.
Does your wife's passport has ur name in it as spouse?

- - No . Instead her passport has her parents details.
If not, then u also got pcc of ur wife without ur name on it?

- - Yes , I got PCC without her name , my First Name and Last name printed in PCC .

- Yes , She also got her PCC with her first name and last name printed in it .
What is ur current timeline of express entry?

- I got PR already..

Nowadays many psk office refuse to give pcc if spouse name is not mentioned on passport so can we select single while applying pcc?

What about name of husband on wife's pcc??
Ans : Nothing to worry about this . PCC is for individual according to name given in Passport . RPO take the data( name ) from Passport.
Many people say that it is necesarry to have husband's name.on wife's pcc.
Ans : Wrong information. This is according our experience .( we got twice the PCC for us , since the earlier one is expired)
For e.g. mrs xyz with passport no. ******** is a wife of mr. Abc....
Like this.
As my wife also has passport of before marriage.
Ans :No problem , spouse has to take PCC with complete her name , which may include her family name .

Summary:
- Nothing to worry about wife's PCC and placing husband name on it.
- According to wife's Passport address details , please go ahead and apply . In case applying from different city, then wife needs to have local address proof . ( Bank account statement will work , but need 6 months data for RPO )

Hi,

Just a few questions around PCC for spouse sponsorship process:

1) How much time does it take to get PCC in Mumbai, India? I see that the process to submit application is online, but when we go to passport office does this procedure finish in a day or it takes 2-3 turns to finally get this?
2) My spouse to be is applying for PCC online. But by the time our wedding takes place in next month the process might have started. So what's the best advice - wait till we get married and then apply or its fine to apply just now?
3) Is it compulsory to update the Spouse name in passport for both of us?

Would appreciate if someone who had been through this process can throw some light. Thanks in advance.
