Even we got like 3 mails telling us your account has been updated when we login and check nothing changed.

But Recently on May 7th we got a mail when i check medicals review in progress. But we did not submit any medicals.

Did you get any mail like that?

Nope.

Although, it does look a bit peculiar this time round. My medical was done in 2014, May. My last application was filed in Feb which was rejected within 30 days, however, because medical was done upfront, status had changed to "Passed" within 2 days of filing, which is not the case this time.

As of now, it says, "not needed at this time". So yes, it is bit slow this time round.

Got Medical request- April 27th.
Medical done - May 6th. No reply after medicals.

Its been almost 15th days since medicals. No response concerning medical or Passport request.
Is there any thing I need to worry about? Any idea what is taking so long now?

even we are waiting for medicals for my wife we applied online on 25th march 2015. and we did not get any medical request but on may 7th we got an update that medicals review in progress. did you get any update like this on mycic.. and Then got medical request?

I also applied sowp online application in canada on april 28 without medical. But did nt get any updates after 22 days. I dont have any access to mycic because my agentcy is doing it. If anyone with same timeline pls reply...

My status is showing as your application is being processed since I have applied. No update received yet..

Normally sowp paper application with in 2 months but it may extent up to 3-4 months depending on cases. . when you applied sowp.please update U r status and other details. Thanks

Hello,

On my open work permit there is a clause that says "Not authorized to work in health service field", does this mean I'm allowed to work as a receptionist at a medical clinic or not? Since technically receptionist is a job that belongs in the Administration field. I've asked my lawyer and I'm trying to get through to CIC customer service (no luck so far)... I want to hear your opinions or experience as well.
