Would that be really of any help?
Because CIC canada does not have any information about applications submitted outside canada, so canadian MP won't be able to do anything.
Unless someone else tried this method and it worked for them, which would mean what i am thinking is batshit crazy.

MP can help even my application was submitted online from canada but since i reside in india it goes to india but cic in general has info abt ur application and mp can find ur status. i was told by my mp my file is sent for further review so try n get in touch with mp where u or ur spouse is residing in canada

This is exactly what I heard from the MP's office when they contacted the cic, that file is under review.

yes, when i called cic for my application and they said that they won't do anything for those who applied from outside canada.
but still i will try to contact MP.
is there anyone get any update who applied around my timeline?
Could i go for CSE? do you think it will help?......

MP shld b able to get u ur status on file. I applied online also n since i reside in India they would say my application is made outside Canada also. But when my MP inquired they were told the file is for further review. CSE will not b of great help either cos they dnt usually reply unless they need additional information. But surely they do see ur cse and it sets like a reminder for them that ur still waiting. hope something works for all soon.

Hi there, I received a call from MP`s office saying that my spousal file is under review. As I`ve also applied for my Spousal PR application maybe that is causing the delay. He needs my federal PR application file number in order to go through the process deeply.
