Spouse-Family sponsor-India-URGENT-Medical reports enquirry

hi all,

I am re-typing it again and again as it is timing out here on my comp. - will make it short!

1. Appying for my husband sponsorship - through outland process - he is residing in India and am the PR in canada.

2. thinking of getting the medicals done first and then apply. Which is today (the medical exam)

Questions:

1> Most of the medical centers wouldn;t know where to send his medical reports, in turn they will ask us where to send them - ottowa or Delhi CHC???
So please reply where should we ask them to send - DELhi CHC or to Ottowa.

2. Since we havent submitted the forms yet - we dont hold a case/file number yet. When medical centers sends out the reports - how will the consulate track it?? based on what reference? Will they dump it somewhere assuming that this applicant will submit the forms?

3. and when we submit the forms will they track it based on our names?? AM WONDERING! - HOW THIS WORKS, since we dont have a case/file number yet.

4. Will this not get delayed with our process since we are getting our meical done first and submit the medical reciept/aknowledgment while submitting the forms.

Please reply ASAP has my husband has gone for his medical check up today. thanks in advance!!

If you have not submitted your application or anything else you

DO NOT HAVE A CASE OR FILE NUMBER UNTIL YOU HAVE APPLIED.

Its that simple, until you filed an application for Sponsorship you have nothing with Immigration.

Read the post by leon at the top of this page read carefully then and only then submit your application. After you have read it go over your Document check list and make sure you have everything then submit your application to Immigration. Then any only then after a few weeks maybe 2 or 3 weeks you will be sent a file number, but when you submit your application along with the fees and submit all your fees because you delay your file by months by not submitting all your fees for Family Sponsorship.

I will try to answer all of them but don't take my word for the first question:-
1.Ottawa coz that is where processing is going to start and later on when you will be approved as a sponsor the file will be transferred to Delhi.
2.I did the same and don't worry they will take care of it as long as it doesn't expire.
3.I am not sure what you are asking here, if you are asking about tracking medicals you just have to submit the receipt. If you are asking about tracking your application forms, then you can track them when you do a registered mail.
4. This should fasten up the process if anything coz if they request you for medicals later on, first you get them done and then send them which takes time. So, this is a good decision.

Thanks for the info MicMac and Gauri.

I know that there wouldn't be a file number if we dont apply, hence was wodering where the medical report would go and sit if we get it done and sendeven before we submit our sponsoral documents.

Micmac- Where can I get the guide from? Please help!

Gauri - Fortunately/Unfortunaely am not sure, the meical center sent out my husbands doc to Delhi yesterday! - hope that is the correct procedure.
For my 3rd question , I meant how would the consulate track our medical reports if it is sent before hand (meaning even before we apply/submit all our docs) for the sponsorship?

For EG :we havent submitted our docs yest for the sponsorhsip right, so we decided to get his medicals done and he got it and they submitted it too. So now when we submit a week or 2 later, how would they get our meical reports? From where? meaning how will they track it (by name? that "Mr.XYZ had submitted the medicals a while ago, so now I have his medical acknowledgment/reciept submitted along with his other sponsrol docs, so let me search it" - like this?? AM totally surprised/wondering/confused!!!!
