di ko kabisado kung kelan na-submit ni wifey appication ko pero ito natatandaan ko...yung later part lng ang medyo alam ko... =)

aug 2010 - filled up application (habang nakabantay wife ko.tagal na kasi nya hinihingi early 2010 pa,inabutan na lang ako ng bakasyon nya..hehe)
sep 2010 - application submitted to cic-missssauga
oct 2010 - medical done.
dec 2010 - approve wife ko to sponsor me. application forwarded to manila
jan 05, 2011 - application received by manila embassy
jan 13, 2011 - request for passport, NSO advisory of marriage & appendix A. (Can't submit because I accepted an offer in UAE & my flight is Jan30th)
feb 1, 2011 - arrived in UAE. Planned to send my passport back to manila for embassy requirement but my employer needs it for my application for resience visa here in UAE.(delay again, the 45days due is counting)
feb 9, 2011 - ecas status : started processing your application (although di ko pa submit everything na hinihingi nila maybe waiting dun sa passport ko)
mar 2011 - received my passport with residence status here in UAE. but still can't send it to manila, still waiting for my emirates ID & labor card.
apr 2, 2011 - finally send my passport to manila after more than 45days due.hopefully they still accept it.
apr 11, 2011 - received an email for FINAL REQUEST. same letter I receive last january.Another 45days.Sakto,buti napadala ko na sa manila april 6 nadeliver sa embassy via LBC.
apr 30 - one month after I send my passport.don't know if immigration received my passport kasi wala naman sila acknowledgement. ecas status "In process".
may 1-15, 2011 - every week checking on ecas. still in process...worried already with my passport.
may 20, 2011 - ecas status: a decision has made on your application. the office will contact you concerning this decision.
may 21, 2011 - passport received with visa & all the docs I submitted.
may 29, 2011 - waiting for my passport arrival here in UAE next week. hopefully...

Continuation of B: To renew or apply for passport at Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) certificate from Seminar B is required

To avoid delay of visa processing, make sure all fees were paid, and all documents were submited.

Additional documents usually requested by the embassy:
1. AOM (Advisory on Marriage) from NSO- different from Marriage Certificate; should be submitted at CPC-Missassauga together with other required documents at Country Specific Instructions-Philippines http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3905e.pdf
2. Divorce Petition- different from Divorce Certificate; usually requested from Filipino sponsors who are divorced based on experiences of posters in this forum. (For natural-born Canadian sponsors who are divorced, seems that they don't ask from you, but pls confirm at CEM)
3. Appendix A- or Additional Family Information; though submitted previously, they will still ask a copy; the letter usually comes with the AOR/PPR
4. Detailed statement of relationship with the EX- for sponsored person with a child from their ex. Sometimes you are required to submit: Ex's I.D, a notarized letter stating the ex allows the child to be sponsored, or other document asked by the visa officer.

They said upon completion of documents 2 to 3 months may decision na.
On my case i need to wait atleast 2 months and kung wala pang update we will contact MP.
In your case since 2009 ka pa..have u tried contacting your MP?
Ecas IN PROCESS pa rin...pero im still holding on..im not loosing faith...hehehe!!!

Ask ko lang po if nakapagpasa na ng passport eh wala na po silang kailangan? possible ba na need pa nila ng police clearance from abroad (Saudi ) kasi 1 1/2 month na since nagpasa ako ng passport till now wala pa ring update sa akin at sa hubby ko sa canada kasi di pa siya PR.Thanks po....

hi! im new to this forum.. not so new though .. since i've been reading this thread for quite a while and finds it very useful specially now na nagpprepare pa lang kmi ng application ng husband ko.
kakaalis lang nya pabalik ng canada.. and ngayon sobrang lungkot ko na.. gusto n namin agad magkasama..

reading this forum, masaya ko kasi madaming naggrant ng visa and nakakapagreunite n sila ng mga mahal nila sa buhay.. i hope kami rin soon..

pas 6 months ka nag work sa saudi kakailanganin nila yung police clearance mo sa saudi...nakakuha ka na ba

oo 18 months ako doon pero wala naman silang request, nagrequest na rin sila ng additional docs pero wala din dun yung police clearance d nakacheck kaya i know cguro d na nila need kc nagrequest na sila ng passport...sana talaga hindi na hehe

siguro kuha ka na din ng clearance para in case na hanapan ka ready ka na. 6 mos din ang alam ko.
pero ako nga 5 1/2 mos lang sa US pero hiningan pa din ako ng FBI clearance, na request na nila yung PP ko then addtl yung FBI.
