You are right! Like me, I did not change my passport to my married name so my PR card is still on my maiden name.bluewenchee said:No, my passport was issued last February. i am concerned about changing name for what I read about it is that once you are in Canada and you wish to change your maiden name to married name, you will also need to change you're PR card. To avoid hassle and another paper work... might as well change your passport now to your married name then send a letter to CIC explaining this and send a copy of your new passport.
But, I would recommend this route if your application just started and not close to PPR.
