Hi guys! I dont wanna be such a pessimist...but, have you encountered anyone who had a PPR and then got rejected at the end? Is PPR not an assuarance for visa? Oh well...paranoid lang! Hehehe!

Here is the email that we got from CEM when i emailed them using hubby's email address. It was on his junk mail and i recently found it.
Dear Applicants,

We note your email below. Please be advised that this file is currently queued for review. Depending on the results of the review, further information/documents may be required. You will receive appropriate instructions by mail when we are ready to finalize your application or if any additional information/documentation is required.

Please be advised that it is now our office policy to request submission of the passport early on during processing in order to shorten the processing time of the applicant's permanent resident visa application. It does not however indicate that the application has already passed the selection stage or that a positive decision has been rendered about this application.

Your medical results are valid until November 7, 2013. You will receive appropriate instructions regarding the required medical examination if your application cannot be fianlized within the medical validity.

Nirerequest tlga passport ng maaga sa atin sis, ska nag strike kasi kya na-delayed lahat. Iba-iba kasi tayo ng v.o ska case to case basis din yan sis. Ako nga nov.2 applicant, ppr ako nung june pero this oct.28 lang ako nag DM. Konting tiis na lang sis, ibibigay na yan ni god. Habaan mo pa pasensya mo sis. God bless.

Ung gcms dun mo mkkita ung notes/ comment ng mga visa officer ska kung ano na ngyayari sa application mo. 2012 applicant ka din ba?last week kasi halos ng nag DM eh puro 2012 applicants.

This is interesting...whats the date of this communication? I just noticed at the bottom that your app went In Process and Decision Made ...are they extending your medical validity I hope...would be a scramble to get here before Nov 7th ...Sheesh! Hope you got an extension!!

That was before sis, 14 months nmn kc tlga processing time ng philippines so ngsstick tlga sila sa rule na un. All you have to do tlga is wait, wala nmn kc tlga tau magagawa to speed up the process. I'm a nov.2012 applicant sis, mas matgal nga aq sau kung tutuusin, pero this oct.28 lang ako na DM. Case to case basis tlga,ska basahin m ung post ni icecoldcandy tlgang pinapa-submit nila ng maaga ung passport. Bsta sis, pray ka lang at have faith mawawala ung worries mo.

Hello sorry still confuse, in my case filipino husband ko pero canadian citizen na sya need ko pa ba guidance and counseling or PDOS nalang po? And pag PDOS need pa ba nung mga sticker and cert? Sorry po better na alam ko na now para pag dating ng Visa may idea na po ako. Hehe excited lang! Thank you very much.

Guidance Counselling ang attendan mo dahil naturalized canadian citizen ang filipino husband mo. Ang PDOS kasi ay para s mga asawa ng permanent residents pa lang (yung mga kakamigrate pa lang and di pa nakaka attain ng citizen status).


And yes, kelangan nung CFO sticker at CFO certificate dahil hahapanin sau yun sa immigration sa airport.Kahit pa may ticket, passport and visa ka pa...if wala ka nyang mga yan di ka nila palalabasin ng Pilipinas.

Both ang GC at PDOS ay ng iissue ng certificate pag nakattend ka na...at lalagyan ka nila ng stickerkapag may visa ka na on hand.

Wag ka mag-alala...pagpunta nyo doon, tatanungin naman kau if ang asawa nyo ay citizen or PR tapos issegregate kau ng pila dahil magkaibang room and floors yun. 3rd floor ang para sa guidance counselling, 5th floor ata yung sa PDOS.
