In my case, my medical is going to expire on June 15 and my CoPR is valid until July 12 2016.

Ganun po ba,salamat po.
So it means po na 1 month lng po valid ang visa niyo.
This month lang po kasi ni request ng medical hubby ko eh, I was just wondering po kung mas matagal ang validity ng visa niya. Im planning to go home po pg my visa na siya.

--- ang alam ko yung validity ng visa is the same as the validity of your medical... so you need to be in Canada before your medical expires otherwise invalid na din visa mo....

di pa ako PPR and i am august applicant. expired na rin medical ko. balak ko din mag attend ng seminar kahit wala pa ako PPR.

Para saan po yang seminar at saan po gagawin?

2h dicussion lang about sa canada then 1h one on one interview sa counselor
2 visits tlaga tyo sa cfo kasi hndi kaya pag sabayin ung PDOS AT GCP kasi almost 1h gap lang nila and ung GCP 1pm na kmi natapos kasi ung line sa cashier at ung waiting time sa certificate

Pag balik ko sticker nlng kkunin ko at pdos
Pag may certificate kana ng CFO hndi mo na need magresched diretso kna para sa sticker

Hi Carley, canadian ba asawa mo? Kala ko cfo for foreign spouse PDOS is for Filipino spouse.. di ko maiintindihan yong difference ng CFO and PDOS.. lol

oo daw sabi nung mga previous applicant na nag land na.. kasi kailangan daw yong sticker kasi kung wala di daw paaalisin.. iwan ko ba nalaman ko lang yan dito sa forum kaya nag tatanong din ako..

oh I see, kasi marami ako na ririnig about PDOS daw ay para sa Filipino spouse.. i wrote a letter to CFO for some clarification about getting an appointment and report of marriage... cos we got married in Canada and sabi nila they need Report of marriage from Consulates, one of the requirements... so di ko alam ang procedure but they response na pwedi na daw ako mag attend kahit wala pang Visa and balik na lang daw pag may visa na for sticker.

just to add info.
yes you can attend that seminar. meron n dn aq certificate required kc for passport.
we got married also abroad , and yes one of requirements report of marriage from consulate.
