Hi everyone. It is my first time here.

I would just like to get some insights from you guys. By the way, I am the applicant here and my wife was the one who sponsored me. We submitted our application July 15, 2013 and received an email from the Canadian Embassy, Manila Office asking me to submit my passport and Appendix A.

Question, does this mean I am already approved? How long does it normally take for them to come up with the decision after I submitted my passport?

I had my medical June 2013 by the way.

Congrats... you are not approved yet.. judging your medical date, before your medical will expire you should have your visa. Your medical is valid for 1 year plus 3 month extension.

Sponsons approval date was August 27, 2013.

Sponsons approval date was August 27, 2013.

If all documents are completed and no more updates that should be included in your application that's the time you will be approved. But hopefully you get approved. as i said before your Medical date will be expired you will get the visa.

And i caught these from the statement

"And then you will receive the final letter - request to submit your passport. Only at this point you can rest assured that your application has been approved and that you will be issued immigrant visa."

I am really happy...Now there is a high assurance that all applicant who received PPR will get their VISA.

Yes. Absolutely. Parehas tayo ng status sa ecas.. May nabasa ako date dito na nasa canada na siya pero app received pa din ang status niya. Malay mo this week na.

Hello guys... may tanong lang ako. Ung appendix a kasi na na submit ko now ko lang narealize na hindi ko nalagyan ng date .
Tingin nyo guys ibabalik ba nila ulit ung appendix a or request sila ulit with date.?
Hindi ba big deal yon sa application?

Ung po doon sa appendix a form. At the bottom nakalagay na signature and date.

you can get it when your passport is requested. it's all about info of you and your dependents passport number and exipiry
