Hi guys!!! ang saya naman tingnan ng forum ang daming good news halos everyday nalang may PPR, IN PROCESS, DM at VISA ON HAND..
andito na kami ng anak ko sa Vancouver poe namin yesterday,mamaya flight namin to Edmonton medyo jet lag ata kami hindi mkatulog kaya naisip kong bisitahin kayo hehe just want to share our landing experience...

1) Fill-apan ang declaration form na ibibigay sa plane

PAGKALAPAG NG EROPLANO SA CANADA (4:46PM)

2) baba ng plane, (sundan lang ang mga arrivals signs)
-sakay ng escalator pataas
-lakad ng konti
-sakay ulit ng escalator pababa
-isang pang sakay ng escalator pababa uli

3) Punta sa NEW IMMIGRANTS lane (nagtanong lang ako kung saan banda)
sa "new immigrants" lane, (1st immigration check) only passport and declaration form ibibigay mo sa officer (binigay ko pati COPR sabi nung officer "I ONLY NEED YOUR PASSPORT AND DECLARATION CARD") laki ng boses at mukhang strikto kaya kinabahan tuloy ako pero smile pa din ako sa kanya sabay "SORRY SIR" hihi

4) Pinapunta sa next immigration office kung saan may interview na with the officer, (konti lang tao kaya ako agad next)

me: 2 sir...

ibigay ang:
PASSPORT/VISA
COPR
DECLARATION CARD

IO: so you're from the Philippines?
me: yes sir
IO: both are first timers in Canada?
me: yes sir
IO: I will ask you few questions based on the information you gave on your application, don't be nervous, just relax ..
me: Okay sir (nag start nang kabahan pero smile pa rin haha)
IO: so you're married?
me: yes sir! (big smile)
IO: and you're height is 154 cm?
me: yes sir
IO: have you been convicted in any crime or has any police records in your home country?
me: no sir
IO: have you been deported or discharged in Canada or any other country?
me: no sir
IO: so this is your first time in Canada?
me: yes sir our very first time!

then that's it! pinapirma na nya ako sa copr and sabi WELCOME TO CANADA! YOU ARE NOW OFFICIALLY PERMANENT RESIDENTS! they will mail our PR cards in 3-6 weeks daw...
pina punta kami ng officer sa other lane kung saan yung tumutulong sa first time immigrants... sabi naman nila 6-8 weeks darating yung PR cards namin..
total time sa immigration 30min Smiley kinuha bagahe, punta sa exit sabay bigay nung declaration card sa CBSA officer na nasa exit then excited na makita c hubby outside waiting for us!!

congrats and big thank you...malaking tulong to sa mga papunta pa lang ng canada,,
ask ko lang dun ba sa declaration form or card(i assume ito yung pra sa mga dala-dala mo tama ba?)
isinulat mo ba lahat ng dala mo as in lahat? and tinanong ka ba how much ang dala mong dollars?.

oo nga.... bago kasi bumalik ng canada hubby ko nagpamedical ako...pero matagal nya ako maiaaply almost after 7 months...maeexpire na ngayong May ang NBI clearance ko at medical..

try ko nga mag email..bakasakali hehehe

mabilis ka pala mag file transfer,after 10 days file transfer ka na..ako kasi after 1 months and two weeks nagfile transfer...

Hmm. Actually, I don't know that for sure. Pero di ba nakalagay sa SA na your file has been forwarded to your visa office for further processing ek ek. Dun ko kinuha yung file transfer date. Yung sayo ba pano mo nalaman na 1 month & 2 weeks??? Baka naman assuming lang ako haha.

naku magbayad ka na.. kapag nagPPR ka at nirequest sayo yan madedelay ka pa ng 2 months sa application mo

Wow napa ka polite mo naman, pero you don't need to call them sir or anyone else you talk to in Canada. You can just call them by their name.

na-recieved ko na po ung email para Medical ng 2 kids namin, pero un pong sa akin as a spouse, wala po.

ano po kaya problema or dapat ko gawin ?

Hi there forum mates! Need some help and advice here. I sponsored my husband last Aug but d/t some problems (missing info/signature), our application was returned and hence I resend it on Sept. I haven't received any email nor letter regarding the AOR/SA. i called CIC and found out that my email address that they have is incorrect. Nonetheless, I have nothing to be worried that time because the CIC call center agent told me that the file was now transferred to Manila visa office. Still, up to now, I have NOT received any letter NOR does my husband. I have been checking ecas, it only states there: application received (under application for PR).

IS IT NORMAL? not to receive any letter (that includes the file number etc),. DO we have to worry? What should we do?

PLEASE HELP. MANY THANKS.
