Spouse Application Visa Type

Hello All,

I'm applying for a student visa since I've been approved for a 2 year program at Humber College.

My wife is coming with me, but I'm not certain of which visa should I apply for her.

I'm doing it eletronically through the cic.gc.ca website and when it comes to submit application for family member, it asks me what is my family member visiting canada for, Visit, Study, Work, I don't know how to choose for my wife.

Any help is much appreciated.

depends on what u want to apply for if she wants to get a spousal work permit or else just a visitor/dependent....select either visitor or work.....

Another question I have is, when uploading all the documents online, one of the documents for her is PURPOSE OF TRAVEL.

She is traveling to accompany me, should I just write a letter saying that?
