Hello guys,

Can anyone help please?

I am Dec application and I have a rep. I did check my app status by using ECSA once, but I’m worried to check it again because I have a rep! Do you guys think should I be fine to check it regularly? Or I have to let my rep know and then check it? Sorry guys I know my question is so confusing, but I’m so stressed that I don’t know what’s going on with my application! My husband did his medical on Feb 20, and since then we haven’t heard anything!

You can check ECAS as frequently as you want. It affects nothing on you nor your rep. Believe me. I check mine I’m sure 20 times a day. Hehe. Wishing you much patience and success

Hi everyone, can someone help me.
I am currently in Canada on visitors visa with my Canadian husband and Canadian children.
We want to apply for my PR as married couple, outland type but I dont know what to put in document check list:
I am currently living outside Canada, and I am applying under the Family Class.
OR
I am currently living in Canada, and I am applying under the Family Class (not under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada
Class). I understand that I may be convoked to attend an interview at a visa office outside Canada.
Thanks everyone :)

Hello members,
CIC has requested that I submit my passport, however my passport was taken from me when I claimed refugee. the cbsa only gave me a copy of the passport but they too the original passport from me.

Right now, my embassy is requesting for the original EXPIRED passport, I had told them that it was seized by CBSA, but they will not give me a new passport.

WHAT DO I DO. ? I ONLY HAVE 10 DAYS LEFT TO RESPOND TO cic.
I am getting frustrated with is process. I can not wait to get over it and move on with my life.
thank you

So I am applying under family class spousal visa Outland, I have everything required for the application, all the forms, pics, documents, additional documents. However I’m not sure how to send the application, I mean I know the address where to send it, but how do you guys pack your application???

And are you supposed to have two different checklist one for sponsor and one for applicant??

Some forums I read mentioned that there are two checklists, is that the case?? Because I can only see one checklist form on CIC website.

If you have any knowledge regarding my questions please answer, thank you in advance.
U send it to Sydney, also when I submitted my application I only send one checklist

Ah okay, and is there a seperate application number for both the spousal sponsorship and for the open work permit?

Also, how long typically till these application numbers are received? I assume a few weeks?
No it’s only one for both of u ,
I don’t know about work permit anything
I got it after 31 days .

If you live in Canada but do not intend to apply inland, then choose I am currently living in Canada, and I am applying under the Family Class (not under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class). It will be processed as an outland application, and yes you might need to attend an interview at a VAC abroad. You also cannot apply for an OWP
