There is some update issues where people received medical requests this morning and they didnt actually send it. The system are having issues. You might want to double check with cic about that. What is your timeline? Did you apply inland or outland?
Inland applicant. Application received by the on 29 April 2016.

Trying to call CIC...but all I hear is 'heavy voulme, call cannot be transferred'.

Hi all,

I am principal applicant and my wife is the sponsor. In the guide, it says that all family members aged 18 or older (if applicable) must submit form 5669 Schedule A. I just received the AOR and a letter asking me to submit form 5669. Does my wife need to fill it too or not because she's Canadian?

Also, in the AOR1 letter, it tells me to sign it as hand written signature then uploading it electronically. How is this possible when they say I can print it out, sign, then upload again?? Can I do an electronic signature and upload it using IRCC Web form? Please Advise.

The schedule A only for principal applicant and 18+ dependence. Not for the sponsor. If you have your online account like myCIC/GCKey then you don't need to sign it. You have to write your name in the signature field.

Someone I knew, did not declared his marriage while getting dependent PR with parents for Canada. Now he got PR, Is there any way of sponsoring his wife and 1 year old kid now?

Hi Am from pakistan. My husband is living in canada and i stay in nigeria.my sponsor started last year october and i recieved my medical call last month in May.The time period after medical exam for passport collection is 3month but my question is,is it possible to recieve a call for passport before 3month?Also is it compulsory to see that your medical status is medical result recieved because i heard people saying its not because sometimes you can recieve a mail for passport without it been updated.

The form 5669 should only be filled out by you.

Yes you can print it out, hand write it and scan it on the computer before uploading it online.

I have applied for my PR under spousal sponsorship. During the time of my application, I had planned accordingly to obtain both FBI Clearance & also PCC from Indian Consulate and submitted the same with my package to CIC.

Now, I've received a correspondence from CIC asking me to upload both FBI Clearance and Police Certificate (PCC) to my application online.

This is not a problem since I already have my documents ready.

My issue is that while I am trying to upload documents on the website, the upload page is asking to enter following information -

1. Document Name
2. Document Number
3. Country of Issue
4. Issue Date DD/MM/YYYY
5. Expiry Date DD/MM/YYYY

My problem is that for both the documents (FBI & PCC) there is no Document Number and no Expiry Dates listed. So while I am entering the data I am unable to move to next screen with these fields left blank.

Can someone please help me how to resolve this issue?

Thanks a lot.

hi there, I have another question on IMM5406, it ask us to list the principal applicant's father, but his father passed away already. so his mother's marital status should be 'widowed', but how about his father's marital status ? still married? confused.
thanks for your answer in advance!

So I see i'm not the only one having difficulties with CIC today due to the website updates? I'm getting nervous now, I checked my CIC and they are requesting additional documents, but there is no message below...

I called CIC and was unable to talk to anyone due to a high volume of calls, but the automated voice said the same thing "Review of additional documents: We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details."

So I have no idea if its just a glitch, or the VO flagged our marriage or what's going on!

Try not to panic. There has been a huge technical issue in the system. It is still not resolved. Give it a few business days.
