I'm going through all forms at the moment to make sure I haven't made any mistakes. In IMM 0008 the form is asking for a UCI. Do I enter my old Client ID from my old expired Working Holiday Visa? Or will I get a new one for the Spousal Sponsorship?

Based on the Guide to Sponsorship, if you have it, you can put the UCI from your previous CIC application. If you don't have it, leave it blank. So basically, it's up to you.

I've found that too but I was hoping to find information on the CIC website whether or not the UCI is a life long number that doesn't change once you have one and it doesn't say that anywhere.
It's probably good though to put it in. They'll see it on the copy of the visa anyways.

Thank you :)

Post your question to the Express Entry or Provincial Nomination section of the forum. People in this section of the forum don't have to deal with this situation and won't know the answer to your question.

Yes it's generally supposed to be a lifelong number. However some people on here have claimed to have gotten two different numbers. I question whether they were just confused about the sponsor's UCI number that comes with the SA, though. My spouse has had the same UCI for multiple visitor records, work visas, up to his PR for the last 10 years (and we didn't put his UCI on his application, for the record, but he still ended up with the same one on his COPR).

My wife got 2 UCIs. I have no idea why. We ordered her GCMS notes from her TRV refusals to try for another one (also refused, go figure). One of the notes said: Old UCI (numbers go here) and then new entry UCI: (new numbers go here)
There was no indication as to the reason. The second UCI has not changed. I also got one as the sponsor.

Hi all :)

I am planning on submitting the sponsorship app after my fiance and I get married this year.

Timeline we are aiming for is for me to send the package to CIC by the second week of July 2016 in Canada.

MY CONCERN: We are both going back to the next cruise ship contract together in July (same ship, just a week apart) and our contracts will end in January 2017 together. What happens if we are working on the ship and CIC asks us to submit his original passport??

The cruise line always takes away our passports and we have to go through a lot of paperwork just to get a chance to see it during our time onboard. We definitely won't be able to go into the ports without the passport because of port immigration authorities requiring passport checks from the Crew Office staff.

I am just worried this will become a problem later on if CIC sends this kind of document request. How do people comply in this situation?

Hello,

1) Do translations from German to English need to be notarized? I had a someone translate my German police certificate to English. It is stamped, signed and she is registered. Does it still need to be notarized? Or is this considered good?

2) The Ontario Wedding Certificate is quite long. Is it okay to copy it in 3 different parts? It the long version of the marriage certificate. We copied it in three sections and also copied the short form version of the marriage certificate.

3) Sponsor. Do they need to provide both the Option 'C' printout from CRA & Notice of Assessment?

Thanks in advance....

1) From what I understand, everything that you get translated has to be notarized. I just recently got my criminal record translated as well and asked them to notarize it. It looks just like you described it - a stamp, a signature and this statement: "Translator authorized by the District Court Hanover for the region of the Federal State Lower Saxony (Germany) for translations from the German into the English language."

Hi everyone!

I just have a couple of questions I'm hoping to get answered.

I received my AOR1 on March 30th, and as of right now I have not received the SA email.
On ECAS, on the sponsor side it has the three lines saying the app was received, the app is being processed, and when they sent me correspondence about the receipt.

On my husband's side (PA), there are two lines, that they received the application and that medical results have been received. Is this normal for everyone who has received AOR1? Does this just mean that Mississauga received the application or does this mean the VO received it? Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated! Thank you.

hi guys ...how is the best way to send more suport evidence to VO?....do you think they even look into that if they did not ask for ?

Hey Forum mates!

An quick inquiry.

Do I need to send original "Option C" letter received from CRA by mail or an Print out from CRA login works?

Thanks in advance!

Hey all!

Do I need to make different envelopes for Sponsor and Applicant file?

If yes then I have to double the documents for example Marriage certificate, PCC and Medical etc. But there is only one PCC so how come i can send them in two different envelopes?

Guide please!

I am stuck in arranging these documents.

Thanks in advance!
