Hi ,
changing or quitting your Job or even never work again will not hurt your application or delay it or make them process faster .
The ARC Issue with Vienna VO is well known here , they are one of the most time wasting VOs .

Thanks for your reply. Yes we've been reading a lot on these forums and agree on the VO comment. Just to add that I am a PR not Canadian citizen so I am unable to go live with him and be out of the country for long periods of time and as far as we know be without work. Even our lawyer had mentioned that me having a stable job long term is a good thing to show them that I can provide for us. Does that change things now?

there is no minimum income requirement for Family Class sponsorship , CIC never asks to be informed in case of job change or loss or unemployment .

However as a PR you have to reside in Canada for the whole period of process , small leaves are fine .

My daughter also has to get a visa, because we haven't applied for her citizenship certificate yet (Actually the reason is that it supposedly takes over a year from Mexico, and only a few months from within Canada....)
As a Canadian citizen, your daughter doesn't qualify for a TRV. If she is under the age of 2, you can apply for the Certificate of Citizenship and a limited validity passport concurrently. If she is 2 or over, you will need to apply for a Facilitation Visa.

Note that without proof of Canadian citizenship, you may face issues getting provincial health coverage for your child.

Oh, actually I had never heard of that rule before. I was under the impression that since my daughter has nothing to show that she is Canadian at the moment, then she would have to enter Canada as a Mexican and, thus, with a tourist or other kind of visa. So you're saying this is impossible? She is 3.

She is still Canadian, even without proof.

Apply now for the Certificate of Citizenship. You can apply for urgent processing based on the child's need to access healthcare in Canada. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/urgent-proof.asp

If the certificate doesn't arrive in time to get a Canadian passport, you will need to apply for a Facilitation Visa. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/types/facilitation.asp

I am the Sponsor and the applicant has lived in france for more than 6 months at one point of time on a work assignment.

French Police is disgustting with sending PCC. They keep sending and my wife doesnt receive it.

However the question is if PCC is received and my girlfriend renews her passport. Will the same PCC work which had the previous passport details?

We found the French authority to be very accomodating when we applied for the PCC; we asked them to send it directly to the London VO, which they did quickly and without issue.

It doesn't matter if the passport number is different.

Regarding IMM5490 question 8 "Do you have family members or other relatives (i.e. aunt, uncle, cousin, etc.) living in Canada?"

I am sponsoring my spouse and I live in Canada. Almost all of my family live here. All of her family lives in China. Should she be listing me as a part of the answer to this question? Do in-laws (i.e. my family) count? Or does this just refer to her family before we got married?

They mean her blood relatives. Don't put your relatives or CIC might think you married into your own family.

There is no co-signer for spouse sponsorship.

HI,

I'm living outside of Canada with my husband. I'm Canadian and sponsoring him. I know that I need to show proof that we'll stay in Canada. I have asked a letter from my employer (I work from home) showing that I can continue my job from Canada, I also have proof that my husband can work from Canada (he is a composer). We both don't have conventional jobs. I also have a letter from my parents saying that they will support us and we can live with them. Do you think this is enough? I don't know what other kind of proof I can provide as it's way too early to sign a rental agreement and I'd rather do that after we've moved and searched for a place we like. I can write a letter myself about our plans and promising to carry them out. Do you think this would be good enough?
Thanks in advance!
