You can't have/use a co-signer for a spousal sponsorship application.

The process can be confusing enough, but you don't need to even think about the co-signer issue...because you can't have one.

Ok...from your other posts it sounds like you don't yet fully understand what you need to do.

Follow the instructions on the CIC website for those sponsoring a family member that is NOT in Canada (Outland applicant).
Just follow the instruction guide to find out which forms are to be completed by the sponsor and which are to be completed by the applicant.

To answer your question, the sponsor would be the one to complete the sponsorship evaluation form.

Thanks again...one last question pls...I want to use an agency to fill out the form but my partner(sponsor)is back to canada..can she fill her section,sign and scan it back to me? Will it be accepted by CIC?

Hi,
I am living in Canada as a permanent Citizen since June 2012 and i got married by May 29,2015 . I have applied for Spouse Sponsorship and the file has been received by August 20, 2016 and they started processing by September 30,2016. I received the Eligibility letter by October 20,2016 which states for the submission of the Medical Examinations too. But Now i am not getting any updates regarding the file its just showing IN PROCESS and as per the processing times it is showing as 17 months. In the meantime my wife wants to stay with me, I dont know whether is it right to bring her on a tourist visa and make her to stay until her processing is done. I am not sure about the procedure if anyone knows please help me .

CIC requires original signatures, so she will have to sign the form(s), mail them to you, then you sign and mail them to CIC (or back to her and then she mails them to CIC from within Canada).

It's very important to check the CIC website when the forms are ready to be mailed to CIC, to see if any of them have been updated.

You fill out the principal applicant forms, she fills out the sponsor forms. Everything goes into one envelope and gets sent to Mississauga.

HI!!

So we sent our application in on dec 1, received correspondence on feb 4 (they said some papers were missing, although i know for a fact they were NOT missing) anyways, re-did them, and march 3, got sponsorship approval letter! However online it still says "in process" and lines have been updated to the feb 4 correspondence only. no acknowledgement about re-receiving my forms. Although whats interesting is initially they messed up my husbands name, and so when i re-did the forms i attached a paper explaining the error in his name, and around march 3 the error in his name was corrected alone.

What does this mean for us?

also our visa office is ROME! Any idea how long it could take?

My spouse's address in India have been changed. I tried to update it through ecase, but there is no any update made by in CIC Account. So, Now i m confuse about, while at the time of submitting passport to VFS,
1)do they ask for latest address or
2)they will return passport at address mention on passport or
3)address mention in CIC file ?

What should i do ?
