Just another friendly reminder to add yourself to the 2015 timeline (if you applied in 2015) so that we can follow what's happening at the various visa offices. Link provided below my signature.

Did you not declare your husband and children in your own PR application?

1. You can apply right away. As a PR, you must be living in Canada throughout the sponsorship process.

2. Not required but you need to show you can support yourselves in Canada without welfare.

4. Expect at least a year.

5. See 2.

Why did you put your family as non-accompanying? Had you included them as accompanying, you would have saved yourself from so much hassle and a long separation away from them. As you have not yet landed, I seriously suggest you look at returning your COPR and having your family changed to accompanying.

If u applied in 2015 and are being processed in ADVO please add yourself to both.

Hi
I applied for my spouse immigration. My online status shows DECISION MADE but I didnt get any correspondence from them. Now what is thr next step and how long will it take for her to come to Canada?

Thanks

Hi friends! Long-time reader, first time poster here. :D
Here's my situation, maybe someone could help me.

I hold dual citizenship of Russia and Israel, and am currently living in Israel.
I am planning to move to Canada, specifically to Winnipeg, MB. I have a partner, a fiancee. We’ve been together for 6 years now and decided to finally reunite.
She is currently in Winnipeg and she spent the past 18 months studying at Red River College there. She graduated in May 2015 and just received her 3-year PGWP. She got a permanent contract and is working as a web/graphic designer (NOC B).
Question 1: 1)Is it better to come to Canada (I don't need a TRV as Israeli citizen) and get married and apply for Spousal OWP straight away FROM Canada OR
2)Apply for OWP as common law partner from Israel (considering that we only Skyped) and phoned each other and only met for several months over these 2 years
Question 2: At some point I will be asked if I applied for canadian visas before. I did apply for Study Permit on my Russian passport and got rejected twice. That was 2 years ago. I will be applying for the Spousal OWP on my Israeli passport. Is it kind of like a clean slate, or do I have to show it in my application?
Question 3: If I come to Canada, we get married and registered and I apply straight away, will the short term of our marriage matter?

Thanks a lot to anyone who can help.

Hello,

I am permanant resident in canada. I have sponsored my husband in India in aug-2014.
He did his pre-medical on 28th may 2014. On 26th sep 2014, i got the news of transferring the file to delhi with the completion of sponsorship process. After that we got some documents verification request earlier in jan 2015 and a remedical request on 19th aug 2015 which we completed on 21st aug 2015. The online status shows that:
- We received your application for pr on sept 26th 2014.
-we started processing your application on july 29th 2015.
-Medical results have been received.

Can u pls tell us what is the next step n how long will I have to wait to see him here? Its been a month after the remedical and still there is no sign of passport request. Please help us with whatever u can.

Hey guys...I am in the process of filling out my application to sponsor my husband and I have a question I was hoping someone could answer about signatures. My husband is Egyptian and I was wondering if he should sign his part of the application in his native language arabic or in English? He is able to write his name in English but its not his everyday signature. I was told he should sign it in his everyday normal signature which would be arabic and that would be fine but i just wanted to see if any of you have done this and was it ok. Thanks
