As long as your have proof of financial support for your spouse you should be able to claim it.You can keep western union receipts or Money transfer History from Bank.
Thanks Garry! Sincerely appreciate your help. :)

You will be able to enter Canada but face the risk of being reported on entry for not meeting the RO. Most PRs that don't meet the RO are able to enter without being reported but there is always the possibility. If you are reported, unless you can show strong H&C grounds for being unable to meet the RO, your PR status will be revoked.

If you aren't reported, you can then stay in Canada for 2 full years until you once again meet the RO and renew your PR.

Your credit score will not affect anything to do with CIC. However, be responsible and pay your debt. If you couldn't afford to pay it, you shouldn't have spent it in the first place.

You will not be able to apply sponsor your wife and son until you once again meet the RO, so 2 full years after entering Canada if you aren't reported. If you apply before you meet the RO, you can expect the app to be refused and your PR status to be revoked.

There is very little chance that they will be approved for TRVs, as CIC will see them as very high risk to overstay with you in Canada.

As I said above, you cannot apply to sponsor them until you once again meet the RO.
- Thanks a lot for the prompt reply. I am sorry I had given you a wrong info about my PR issued date. My PR was Issued on the 22 December 2011 which was mentioned on the back side of the card and it expires on 15 February 2017. I have already stayed in Canada for 94 days before I left for good to India. Even If I come to Canada by end of May 2015 I will be able to fulfill the 730 days without any issue if I stay until the expiry date mentioned on the PR card.
- Now my another question is, Since I will be able to fulfill the RO as mentioned by the immigration authorities and it will not be less than 2 years, will I have an issue in applying for my family immediately after I enter Canada? Or will they still wait for my 2 years to be complete?
- Regarding my financial status, I will not be able to show them the T4 or Option C or notice of accessment as I was not in the country for the last 3 years. In this case, once I find a job after landing can I get the employers letter stating the employment details and the pay stub for the first month and apply immediately.
- I am also planning to get funds from India which will be on my bank account and can I show the immigration authorities my bank statement for them to view my balance as it would be convincing for them as a sponsor?

Being able to meet the RO has nothing to do with the expiry date of your PR card. For someone to meet the RO when they've been a PR for less than 5 years, they must spend 730 days in Canada in the 5 years immediately after the LANDING DATE. If you landed Dec 22nd, 2011 and spent 94 days here, you would have had to enter Canada about 5 days ago to be able to meet the RO.

As you do NOT MEET THE RO, my previous advice in regards to sponsoring your family stands.

This is correct. You will have to return to Canada and live for 2 straight years in Canada before you will be able to sponsor your family for PR. If you apply any sooner, their application will be refused and you will lose your PR status.

Hi there Leon,

Thank you for writing all of this information, one of the questions I have would be say after I apply to Sponsor my Spouse from within Canada, Say he gets a work permit for example, would we be okay to live anywhere in Canada while waiting for his PR to be approved? Say for example we were to decide to move to another Province like Ontario or even Quebec, seeing as how I know Quebec has it's own rules, but do any rules apply for this?

there should not be any problem if you will be moving to another place.just need to update your contact address in case cic want to contact you.
If you move to Quebec, then you would need to get a CSQ also.

Hahaha yes, Quebec is exceptional - at being terrible! Born and raised in Montreal, speak French like a pure laine and I would only move back under extreme duress. :D
