- The problem with the landing date looks like it will be less than 2 years of the 5 year period that I will not be able to fulfill as mentioned by the immigration authorities. Now, even if I come on the mentioned landing date will I be able to gain entry into Canada without any issue?

- If I gain entry on the mentioned landing date and stay until my PR expires on 15th February 2017 and then can I stay over after the expiry date and fulfill the 2 year period and renew my PR.

- I had a Credit Card until I left Canada which I refused to cancel and pay my last due as I was to get back. And Until now I have not paid back some $ 2000 and when I inquired they said my account is closed and was sent to collections. I presume that my credit score would have been affected badly.

- I would like to sponsor my wife and son to live with me in Canada. Will the above two issues (PR Expiry Date and Credit Score) hamper my family to be considered for a family sponsorship.
- Will I be able to bring them to Canada through a tourist visa and then apply for PR when they are with me?
- Or Can I apply for the family sponsorship immediately after I land in Canada while they are back in the home country. If I do apply after I land in Canada will my PR status be affected, because I will be 3 months short of the full 2 year term?
You will be able to enter Canada but face the risk of being reported on entry for not meeting the RO. Most PRs that don't meet the RO are able to enter without being reported but there is always the possibility. If you are reported, unless you can show strong H&C grounds for being unable to meet the RO, your PR status will be revoked.

If you aren't reported, you can then stay in Canada for 2 full years until you once again meet the RO and renew your PR.

Your credit score will not affect anything to do with CIC. However, be responsible and pay your debt. If you couldn't afford to pay it, you shouldn't have spent it in the first place.

You will not be able to apply sponsor your wife and son until you once again meet the RO, so 2 full years after entering Canada if you aren't reported. If you apply before you meet the RO, you can expect the app to be refused and your PR status to be revoked.

There is very little chance that they will be approved for TRVs, as CIC will see them as very high risk to overstay with you in Canada.

As I said above, you cannot apply to sponsor them until you once again meet the RO.

You might want to ask this question in the thread for New Dehli applicants, as they will have a better idea of how quickly things happen, like scheduling an interview.
When an interview is called, you're not to send any other proof or documents to the visa office ahead of the interview; you're supposed to wait and bring it to the interview. You, however, haven't yet been notified of the interview (just saw in your file notes) so it's hard to say.

If you do decide to send the birth certificate to the visa office, then you might want to have another birth certificate ordered at the same time, just in case they call u for an interview before they actually receive or open your mail, so u will have one to give them as well should the interview be called soon.

Again, I suggest u ask this in the New Dehli applicant thread, as they will have a better idea of what is expected and how quickly things actually move at the visa office.

Hi. My wife is Canadian and she will sponsor me to immigrate to Canada (I am Polish).
We are filling our applications in, we are almost finished but I have a few questions, so please help!

1. 'Generic Application Form for Canada' - the PDF file doesn't allow me to put Polish letters but the application says: 'Family name(s) exactly as shown on your passport or travel document'. Well, my passport includes Polish letters, so I am confused.
2. 'Application to Sponsor' - the same problem - no option to put Polish letters in my name.
3. 'Additional family information' form - should I put the names of my parents and sisters even if they are not coming with us to Canada and I know that they will probably never immigrate to Canada? Yes you do
4. 'Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire' - I am able to put Polish letters in my name here. Should I put them or not (like I didn't in 'Generic Application' and 'Application to Sponsor')?
5. 'Schedule A' - again, I am able to put Polish letters in the PDF file.
6. What fees do I and my wife have to pay?
Sponsor (Canadian or PR) $75.00
Principal Applicant (spouse) $475.00
*the 2 above must be paid with your application
Right of Permanent Residency $490.00
*you can and should pay this as well with the other 2 but you can wait

TOTAL FOR 1 SPOUSE NO CHILDREN $1040.00 Canadian

for the section to put the native names, you can print and hand write it
Thank you for your help!
draxz1289 thanks for your help! Anyways, I am still a bit confused, cause the guide says that the whole application should be in English (or French) but some forms specifically ask for English surname only, some for native one but some (for ex. Additional Family information) asks for both :( There is not much difference between an English alphabet and Polish one (just accents L to Ł in Polish, S to Ś in Polish ect). How did you fill it in, native or English? What do you recommend?

If it specifies native script, then write it in native script.

Only the applicant needs a police check, not the sponsor.

Thank you very much. One more question from me.

Do I have to send all the forms & documents of Sponsorer and Applicant together to CPC-M and then they will forward it to the repective visa office OR Should I send Sponsorer document and Forms first and then Wait for CPC-M to approve it and then later forward it all along with Principal applicant forms & docs to Visa office.

Hi .. I have already filed the application but I am worried about one part. I am sponsoring my husband.

On IMMM 1344 .. there are three signatures :-

1) sponsor's Signature - My Signature
2) Signature of Sponsor's Spouse ( If Co-signer) - N/A
3) Signature of sponsored person- My Husband's Signature

For Number 2 , I marked as N/A because we didnt have any co-signer.
Is it correct or I had to get done my husband's signature ??

The guide clearly specifies that both parts must be sent to CPC-M, otherwise there is a very good chance they will return the entire application to you.

Hi everyone....with help from forum mebers i'm almost there in terms of getting the package together to apply for sponsoring my wife.

One quick question - I just paid the CIC fees of 1040 online and printed out the receipt. I have to fill out certain fields in the receipt

- Client Date of Birth - Is this mine or my wife who is the principal applicant?
- Client ID - Guessing I have to leave this blank as my wife doesnt have any Client ID yet
- Address and Postal Code - Guessing this should be the one I used for the credit card verification and not necessary my mailing adress postal code
- Tel Number - This I'll be putting down my number.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

The receipt is used strictly for refund purposes, should the application be cancelled or refused. If it is your credit card, you should put your information. And you're correct to leave the client Id number blank if u don't have one yet.

Perfect! Thanks so much for such a quick response.

Yes, its my credit card and I am the sponsor. I guess I will fill in all my details there - my DOB and my address aassociated with the Credit card.
