If I send my file to CIC from Canada, it'll be apllyed as "inland" process?
I'll send the file forts for my wife to sign the papers and then she'll send to cic.
How should I proceed to be an Outland process?
You fill out the forms for an outland application, and you send it to the outland address.

Hi.. I became Canadian PR in Jan 2012, I lived in Canada for about 90 days & got my PR & SIN cards & then I went back to Dubai to look after my work & wind up my official & family affairs. Meanwhile during my annual leave to Philippines, of July 2012 I met my old classmate(whirl wind romance) and got married in August 2012 & now have almost 17 months old baby as well. Due to certain circumstances, I have delayed my return & planning to return permanently settle in Canada on March 2015.

I want to submit both spouse & child sponsorship immediately and I have a few questions that need to be clarified before filling out sponsorship documents. Any help is greatly appreciated:-

Form: Sponsorship Evaluation (IMM 5481)
Question # 2 (A)

Your Current Situation, Give details of your current situation and indicate how to support yourself?
As i will just recently be back on March, I will be searching for the job which may take time or matured at any time, one can not predict. How should I describe current situation, if I am unemployed at the time of submitting my sponsorship application. Do I need to indicate that I have earning from my previous employment in Dubai and as well my husband is currently employed to earn and as well as we have a joint account and personal properties to sell incase my husband my son will follow in Canada. Can I attach a payslip or salary statement of my previous employment as a proof as well our joint bank certificate and land titles.

Question # 3

Your Net Personal Income, Your net personal income for the 12-month period preceding the date of your application

● In this context, what should I write in the said column? Shall i write my earning on my previous employment as well as the dates employed here in Dubai

Option-C printout
Make sure you include with your application the original option-C printout obtained from the CRA.

● As I remained outside Canada, I didnt file for tax and im planning to submit immediately once ill be back. the option C printout they said after filing ill recieve after in 1-2 weeks. Should I have to wait or I can submit explanation for No-Option C printout?

Additional Details
At the end of page 4 of IMM 5540

On a separate sheet of paper, provide any additional details of your current relationship that you believe would help to prove your relationship is genuine and continuing.

● As a sponsor person, what type of additional details or evidence can be provided to prove our relationship is genuine & continuing?

Form: Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire (IMM 5490)
Question # 16 (a & b)-Information About Marriage

Did your sponsor have to travel to your country for the marriage? (No/Yes)
i met him and married instantly when i had vacation in philippines..shall i answer yes? Or no?

Question # 26 (a)-Maintaining Contact

How do you and your sponsor communicate when you are not together?

● We used to call each other on prepaid cell phone, so don't have any record, so what should we do in this situation?

Question # 27-Living Arrangements & Financial Support

Have you and your sponsor lived together? (No/Yes) Give dates of periods of cohabitation.

● We are living together since our marriage(not a cohabitation) in fr Nov 2012 till present. Need to answer this and enter this period?

For medical: is it mandatory that my baby will undergo medical too?

Sorry for the lengthy questions..Im hoping for your replies. Thank u

The sponsor not having an income results in a refusal?
I mean, my wife's parents will help us at first then she will start working in July, soon after her college is done.
Is it possible with good chances?

Hi everyone

I have a question. I have applied to sponsor my husband (outland) and he was approved and got his PR approval. He has to land before May 20, 2015
My question is: can he go alone to enter and come back to Belgium to sell the house? Or do I have to go with him? And how long should he stay in Canada before he returns?
We are having trouble to sell our house and therefore we have to work on a plan B.
Thank you in advance

Yes submit all that. There is no minimum income required, but CIC wants to know that you and your family will not need social assistance after landing. Also include details on what type of job you expect to get and what the expected salary range will be.

● In this context, what should I write in the said column? Shall i write my earning on my previous employment as well as the dates employed here in Dubai
Yes include your foreign income.

● As I remained outside Canada, I didnt file for tax and im planning to submit immediately once ill be back. the option C printout they said after filing ill recieve after in 1-2 weeks. Should I have to wait or I can submit explanation for No-Option C printout?
If you don't have an Option C available from CRA at time of application (due to never doing taxes), you can write the reason for this and include foreign income info instead.

● As a sponsor person, what type of additional details or evidence can be provided to prove our relationship is genuine & continuing?
Photos from wedding with friends/family, joint financial accounts, life insurance on each other, going on trips together, and of course having a child together. With an almost 2 year old child together, I don't think you'll have any problem proving relationship.

How do you and your sponsor communicate when you are not together?

● We used to call each other on prepaid cell phone, so don't have any record, so what should we do in this situation?
This question is more for long-distance couples. So when you return to Canada, show how you communicate with your spouse.

● We are living together since our marriage(not a cohabitation) in fr Nov 2012 till present. Need to answer this and enter this period?
If you are living together since marriage, that is cohabitation. Yes enter the time you've lived together, this should be an easy question.

For medical: is it mandatory that my baby will undergo medical too?
Yes. But baby's medical is much simpler than for adult (I don't think there are x-rays or blood tests involved).

Also keep in mind your PR residency obligation. Sounds like when you return to Canada, you will just barely be under the 3 years allowed outside. So while you stay resident in Canada during PR processing, make sure any vacations you take don't push you over the maximum 3 years allowed outside Canada or you will be in violation or RO and could have negative implications to the application plus your own PR status.

There are a lot of people who have done this. Why do you ask?
Hi, the reason I am asking is I am applying sponsorship for my husband and I am still confused as to what I should do.

I am a Canadian citizen and sponsoring my husband. We got married last year. The question I have is regarding how should I file my taxes for previous year. I need to file taxes for 2013 and 2014. We got married at the end of 2013 and have been living together for last 3 years. The confusion about the whole process is that my husband got out of status due to some unavoidable circumstances. I have already checked that u don't need to have status for applying for inland. My only question is how I go about filing my taxes for the last 2 years. Should I include him when I file my taxes. And is there any tax obligations for him as well even though he is out of status and not working. If anybody can shed some light on it it would highly appreciated. He was on a student permit before being out of status. He doesn't have a SIN card so how do I explain to Tax people that he's out of status.

Hello,

I am wondering if any of you can help me. I have applied for an outland sponsorship application. My visitor record will be expiring at the beginning of May, but my visitor visa expires in April 2020. I am planning to leave the country at the end of March I need to get a new visitor record if I leave the country? I have also applied for a work permit, and expect to receive it at the end of March. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

You've posted this question 4 times. Please post it only once.

You have to include your spouse. Failure to do so would be tax fraud, and could cause you a lot of problems if audited by CRA.

Sorry for posting it multiple times. I am new to this forum and thought Posting it at multiple threads might get me more answers from experienced members.

I know I have to include my spouse but what do I put in my tax forms when they ask for his SIN number.

Hi

Yes, he can go alone to land and then return to Belgium. You are not required to be there with him and there is no minimum amount of time that he is required to stay in Canada before returning to Belgium.

Posting multiple times will get you confusing answers, since no one knows what you've been told already. It also decreases the chance that you'll get an answer. If I see someone that has posted the same question repeatedly, I ignore them. It's annoying.

I think you can put all 9s. Search around, I'm sure someone has asked that question before.

For what I know, for people, especially international students (http://students.ubc.ca/enrolment/finances/financial-advice/taxes-international/itn), who dont have a SIN and have to file tax, he/she should apply for the ITIN for tax purposes. Not sure how your case fits in since your spouse's study permit is expired..
