Please Advice need .............

I want to sponsor my boyfriend (I am a PR holder in Canada since an year ) but he has a refusal as a visit visa to Canada in 2013 .

What are our options ?

Is it better to invite him here and get married here in Canada ?

:( :( :( :( :( :( HELP..............
I got married in Toronto my first TRV was refused I applied again and than the visa was issued this was from Canadian visa office in Nairobi make sure you show them strong evidence you will return home after marriage.

Where did i stated that I am marrying her just for PR? After talking to my parents I was about to leave Canada because they want me back. But My gf and I decided to get married and not to leave her because we both love each other. I am on this forum to get a good advice not your judgment.
i see, all the best .cic might negatively judge your case because they will see that your work permit expired and you decided to apply for a study permit and got married soon after etc . You have to live together during the application process and for two years after the approval or risk loosing your pr . Anyways all the best to you

I Am new this forum, I have posted on other page as well when I realized that this post is just a reply of someone else's post and I got many replies when i posted on other page. I am seeing this girl for past 4 months now and I am Muslim, I can't live together without getting married. Like i said, i would have already left Canada but only reason I want to stay in canada because of her. And in order to stay legal in Canada for her, I and my gf have to think about my PR. For you might be 4 months are not enough to get married but for me and my gf 4 months are enough. My initial plan was to move to Toronto and after couple of months she could move to toronto as well. but now we decided to stay in Manitoba and i will go back to school here itself. So please stop judging and show some respect.

Getting married after only 4 months is not normal to CIC. A quick relationship followed by quick wedding and applying for PR, conveniently around the same time you would otherwise lose status in Canada... is a sure fire way to get your PR rejected as a marriage of convenience. there is a very strong chance CIC will think you are only getting married in order to get PR status. Especially if you only have a very small wedding and not a big one with all your friends/family in attendance.

You'll need to provide a lot more information if you want an answer.

What did you apply for? Spousal sponsorship or something else? Inland or outland? Through which visa office?

I haven't disrespected you in anyway . You are not staying in Canada for "her" but for both of your sake and mostly for your school. Which is ok am not judging . This is not about me . Convince cic that four months it normal not me . It a good thing you've decided to stay together in Manitoba . Thought the course you wanted to study can only be found in a university in Toronto ? Did you change the course or a new university is offering it now? Anyways all the best with that . And oh the lease can be in both of your names .i don't think it matters Chill because am not in anyway disrespecting you.

it's best to look for the new delhi thread and ask your question there. they will be able to tell you if this is within the current "trend".

Is there a number you can call for CIC to ask general questions about forms and such? Thanks.
yes, though i'm not sure how helpful they will be about forms. there have been a variety of experiences. the number is the 888 call center number for CIC. It can only be called from INSIDE canada. It will not accept calls from other countries.

i'm sure someone will post it, or it's possible it's on the website.

Hi guys!I already ask question last time regarding inland or outland. I need input from u guys so I can choose which one to apply for.
-My history: I'm Malaysian married to Canadian in 2001 and we live in Malaysia for 12 years now. We have 2 kids. ( In the process to get their certificate of citizenship). I did my degree in Dentistry in Canada from 1997-2001 and only went to Canada once in 2005 for my brother-in-law wedding. We haven't been to Canada since then. So this year is already 9 years we haven't been back.
-My questions: If I want to apply for outland application, how do we show intent of returning to Canada? My husband don't have any ties at all to Canada except that he has his family there. No bank account, not paying tax there ( since he's paying tax in malaysia), no loan, no credit card, even his driving license expired long ago ( since he can't renew it from malaysia). How are we gonna prove intent to move to canada? Just giving letters from his family and friends good enough? what else can I do to show that we want to move back. I read that someone got rejected because of not having enough proof of intent to move to canada. Also the funding part, I'm planning to sell my house and also my dental practice here and using the fund to support ourselves once we move. How to proof that since I'm not gonna sell my practice now.
- The other option is to apply inland. Have to apply for TRV ( since mine was expired long ago) then go to canada and apply from there. Someone from Malaysia said last time she apply for TRV, she only got 1 year. What if for some crazy reason they denied my TRV? It's a risk for sure that I have to keep in mind. Then If I apply for outland will it influence the application? The only good thing about inland is we can move to canada faster and our kids can start their school faster. If we go with inland we're moving by next year. If outland, we're applying this year and probably looking at the timeline from singapore's forum we'll get PR in 2016.
Arghh..if I only know which one to choose. I really appreciate any input from you guys. Thanks.

Hey guys!!! I just updated my status from CRA to Common Law this year, I just wanna asked what document do i need to get from them, stating that I am in a common law relationship? So that i can submit it to Immigration as evidence.
