I have a question about details from from 5481..

From 5481 requires to list the number of persons included in "undertakings in effect and NOT yet in effect", #4. (has) Myself, #5. says to input the number from box 3 of Generic App. form 0008, however, this box 3 of form 0008 also has myself included in it. Therefore, I am included twice in this total. The box total from 0008 is 5, myself, my wife, her brother, and her parents. However, if I add 5 to the "1" then I have an extra person included because I am included TWO times....

2. From 5481 question 5B asks for information about "family members and persons included in previous undertakings in effect or not yet in effect...
I have no "PREVIOUS UNDERTAKINGS" but do I need to again include the names of my wife's family for THIS UNDERTAKING under 5Bi or 5Bii ?? If so, under which category do I write them down?? 5Bi says "Persons included in previous undertakings I signed as sponsor that are still in effect?" Or.... 5Bii: "Persons included in previous undertakings I signed as sponsor that are NOT yet in effect.?? This form is really not clear and seems to overlap too much so that I don't know what to fill and where... Does this only apply for any OTHER application OTHER than the one I'm currently filling out, OR does it mean to just list the info for the people of THIS undertaking which is 'not yet in effect'.....

my wife is a Canadian citizen and also my son , she want to sponsor me, she lives in Canada with my son ,I'm from outside Canada

I have a marriage certificate and alot of proofs for my weeding and my engagement party
and i have a science degree ( Bachelors) in nursing and have a job in the governmental hospital in my own country
As for my wife has a part time work,

according all of the above , do you think may i face some of troubles with CIC ?

and what is your advices to me

Nothing you have described sounds like your case is complicated. Assuming there are no other issues, you shouldn't have any specific difficulties provided you submit a complete application.

actually, there are some question I'm having difficulties in it , I do not want to make wrong answers that could delay my application

The search worked for me. It lists a single Panel Physician in Azerbaijan. He is in Baku:

But keep in mind you can have the examination done anywhere in the world - by any Panel Physician authorized by CIC.

I just have a question... i submitted my spousal sponsorship October 8 to CPC in mississauga Ontario, they followed up by november asking for other documents. approval of sponsorship was December 7, 2012 and states that it was forwarded to visa office in manila. i just want to know what is the next step that will happen and how long will it take for her visa to be approved? thanks hope to get help from here. thanks

A long wait is next. Twelve months is the current processing time. My application has been in Manila since about the time you applied for your sponsorship and I haven't heard anything yet.

You are not undertaking anyone except your wife.

In Box 3 of form IMM 0008, the number is only 1. So, in Form IMM 5481 5 A) is 1 but 5 B) all boxes are 0. 6 A) & B) is 0. So, total of 4, 5 & 6 is 2

Mine case is similar to urs..I m in uk aswell bt my file went to Singapore .... my husband is from ottowa..the question u asked I dnt ve that much experience to advice u...like goodman,computergreek some of knowledgeable and helpfull person of this forum definitely will help u out I believe....

Just for curiocity may I ask u ......r u permanent resident of uk??or which status in uk??and where u from.......???

The reason why I m asking I m from bangladesh and may be the reason for my file went to Singapore as I was expecting to deal with London visa office .....

I cant search in 528 page, I looked in about 50 pages , I found some answers close my answers, But not exactly identical

anyway this is my inquiries :

1- Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] , question no.3 "" Indicate the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you to Canada or not.""

I confused about this question knowing that my family members is 3 , me, my wife, and my little son , Assuming that my wife is my sponsor and my son is a Canadian also
Please tell me what to write in this box :1, 2 or 3 ?????

2- In the same form (0008) they ask about Dependant(s) > they say , you must provide all the following details about each of your family members, you must include your spouse and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse , who already permanent resident or citizen of Canada
Please tell me what to do ؟؟
