speaking of UCI... since she already has a visitor visa and she has been here before, does that mean that she already has a UCI number? for application purposes i mean?! we 've left it blank because we haven't found it anywhere...
also if she goes prepared with the application and all the documents and the receipt and the return ticket and everything that we've submitted, would there be any reason for them to deny her entry?!

ahh man... all this stuff is giving me a headache! ??? :'(
You may leave the UCI blank if you cannot find it. They will match it up if she was ever issued one.

Yes, she can be denied entry. You see, entering into Canada as a visitor has nothing to do with her PR applicaiton and her PR application does not support her entering as a visitor; the statuses are different. Plus, having a PR application does not mean you will get it, so immigration agents can always use their discretion and deny entry for the reason of a "visitor intending to stay". Remember that entering in Canada as a visitor carries the promise that you are intending to leave, which would be in contradiction with a PR application.

Hoping everything goes good, but i tried that website and i doesn't show up anything.

I put the application number since i don't know if i have a UCI number and nothing comes after that :(

can anyone help
If you havge received notification of sponsor approval you can use the sponsor's UCI that appears on the notification along with the sponsors information (last name, date of birth, etc), to lookup the case status. That works for us.

Hi,

I have several questions:

1: What is the appro cost of the pregnancy insurance in USA?
2: Can I be on visitor visa there with the insurance? My husband is on F1. Should I go on F2 visa to get the insurance?
3: What does the insurance cover?
4: What are some good companies?
5: I am in Canada now. Should I buy the insurance before going to USA.

What is the cost of delivery if I dont have insurance?
1. I live in the US and i work for a health insurance co and I have never heard of pregnancy insurance.
2. You can buy visitor's insurance through especialized companies but I do not think they cover deliveries. To buy insurance in the US you are usually asked for your SSN but some states will allow you not to use one.
3. Insurance policies (real ones) have difference coverages depending on the premium and the type of insurance, but most carry a wait period on certain services, including delivery coverage for 6 months to 18 months after the purchase of a policy. An individual policy may cost from $250 to $500 per month depending upon health, age and location.
4. Look it up on the internet. As i said, real insurance companies are different from travel insurance companies. Reral insurance companies are Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, etc..
5. No, you do not have to buy insurace abroad, unless you are planning to buy travel insurance.

If your husband is offered insurance you may be coverewd under his policy, just tell him to ask.

Deliveries may cost around $4,000 to 7,000 depending on the type of delivery, type of case, facility where it takes place, etc, sometimes less or more. There is no way to tell exactly how much it will cost.

Hi everyone!

Please I have a question. I am so confused for gathering our documents especially our conversation on skype.
I started to print screen only the dates from the beginning of our conversation. We communicate everyday since he left 2010.

Is it okay I only print screen the dates? Not the entire conversation on that day?
Is it okay if i dont print screen our everyday conversation? I just jump up the dates. Or do i need to print out those 30days a month conversation?
Please help.
Thank you so much.

I didn't print every conversation, just selected a few from the first few years and recent few and printed out the conversations out and got them notarised (Certified True Copy), for the years where I did not print any conversations, I showed pictures or other evidence, travel itinerary etc. I also showed an email my dad had sent to my husband (my dad sponsored my husband's visitor visa to Singapore where I staying with my family at that time).

The important thing is to show continuity of relationship. If your relationship goes a long time back, just try to cover all the years. If it's a new relationship, furnish enough evidence that it's a strong genuine relationship.

Hope this helps!

As a matter of Canadian law you were never married as your spouse was already married. Thus your new marriage is fine and I'd not expect any unusual issues.

Thanks computergeek... i hope everything is fine....

Does it make it an easier process to get permanent residency for my wife if our kids and I are all Canadian?
If your kids are your wife's children it may help prove that the relationship is legit and would make the case less complicated in that regard and possibly resulting in a shorter processing time. However, in reality, you are the sponsor, not you and your kids, so there is really no stronger 'push' because your kids are Canadian (except for the fact that you do not have to sponsor them).

Note that the status of health insurance regulations in the US is in a state of flux and the coverage of "pre-existing conditions" is now standard, but the rules are both changing and sufficiently complex enough that I would inquire directly. If your husband is already covered, I would expect you can be added to his coverage for some cost. If you are presently insured it would generally exclude the pre-existing condition clause (it's been about two years since I researched this specific issue.)

We have Sponsorship approval already and the Sponsor has UCI and Sponsorship application number, but how could we find out the PR application number (applicant's) and/or applicant's UCI when the Canadian citizen lives abroad with the applicant (outland application)? Can we call? sending an email to the VO?

The Call Centre can provide the applicant their UCI from inside Canada.
