Spousal sponsorship

Ladies and gents, am in desperate need of advice!

Am I correct in saying the forms needed for my common law spouse to sponsor me are IMM 5443, 1344, 5481, 0008, 0008 dep, 5406, 5669, 5285, 5476 and 5289.

Are these what she submits t sponsor me and do I have to complete the same for being the sponsored person? Also the receipt (just ordered) can we pay for the whole thing on one receipt or should we use separate ones?

Lastly, we're applying inland. I'm currently on an extended visitor visa (I'm a British citizen) do I need to extend the visitor visa while the spousal one is being processed? If so, can I ask for a visitor visa extension to cover the whole period of the application?

Many thanks in advance

Does my sponsor (spouse & Canadian citizen) have to fill out the IMM5669 background/declaration form as well? Or is intended for myself and any other dependents I have regardless if they come to Canada with me or not?

It sounds like you lived together, so I'd say YES.

"lived together" = "cohabitation".

So the dates you gave are what CIC wants.

I too, have a question in regards to a Option C print out, my sponsor/husband did not have any income last year therefore did not file taxes. How do I still get a print out or what else is an option?
Thanks.

Depends if you maintain close ties to Canada, which may deem you a resident that's required to pay taxes as a resident even though you don't actually live in Canada. And also how much ties you have in the place you are living abroad now and if Canada has any agreement with the country that you live in. See link: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tx/nnrsdnts/cmmn/rsdncy-eng.html . So it could be acceptable to be filing taxes as a resident even though you are not living in Canada. Examples of ties in Canada can be found in this form: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/nr73/nr73-12e.pdf

Re: Spousal sponsorship - new question (new person)

I am a Canadian citizen and married my fiancé (British Citizen) while he is visiting from UK. He has a return ticket to UK for 6 months from now, and we plan to visit and then return to Canada where we intend to remain once he has PR status. Do we submit our immigration documents, including spousal sponsorship forms as if he is residing IN Canada? I do not want to have documents rejected if it should have been an OUTSIDE of Canada application. Many thanks.

If you're planning on being gone for an extended time out of Canada then file outland. I hear London is quite fast.

In Canada is a special situation, which requires he be living in Canada with you. Outside Canada is the general case and simply means that if he IS in Canada he has legal temporary status. He can ALWAYS apply Outland. It's inland that has the special restrictions.

Thanks for the input. We will only be out of Canada for three to four weeks. My (now) husband is living with me until he has to leave the country, at which time we will visit the UK and then return to Canada, with him as a visitor (again) if need be.

Need advice for my 2013 tax return. What have sponsors done previously while they wait for their spouce to be approved to come to canada as PR? On the tax report when you change your status to "married" it asks for spouce's SIN# (of course, no SIN yet) also it asks for spouces net income even if out of country.
What have other sponsors out there put in the SIN box on the form in the past?

He can apply online for a visa to extend his stay in Canada during the processing of his PR app. This is quite common and CIC generally approves same in 30days. This will give your spouse legal status in Canada during processing, without having to leave and re-enter Canada.
