do you have any idea how to get skype detail sheets when after the skype was deleted & re install?
bcoz my son installed widows8 on 13-02-2013. & 14-02-2013 cic asked me about the communication details. now i got the details after 13-02-2013. but i want to know how to get the details of before 13-02-2013. it shows theres no more before 13-02-2013. anybody has an idea about this?

Need some help,

Applied in June 2012 at Mississuaga

Got acknowledgement in August 2012 that sponsorship in approved and file is transferred to islamabad.

I inquired islamabad in feb 2013 about my file status and got reply in april 2013 that your file is not yet received from case processing pilot office.

i phoned cic and they told me that in august 2012 they sent my file to ottawa and in april 2013 ottawa sent it to islamabad.

Now in light of above can anyone elaborate whats going on? Why ottawa kept it for 7 months and sent it to islamabad? When should i expect my visa now?

True that they only care about the 1 year mark, that said, they MAY ask for proof. My parents are common law, and they are Canadians and have to send proof that they actually live in the same house. So keep any proof you have JUST IN CASE.

Very interesting... have never heard of my friends needing to prove they're common-law or married to the CRA, so guess they just do random checks. As for proof, I wonder if the CRA would accept mail from the CRA delivered to both people at the same address, as suitable proof lol.

Also, is there any reference here on what should be in the letters from the family/friends. I mean they've known that we have been in a relationship and its continuing but what is CIC looking for in these letters so we're not writing all over the place and avoiding the main question.

The time it was received by CPP-O is used to determine the time frame for your application. CIC cannot "reset the clock" by transferring a file between offices - as per their own operating manuals (though I've heard of them trying to do same).

I was incessantly checking eCAS since morning after I realized our file went to "In Process" a day back ! Half an hour back our status changed to "Decision Made" with NO Address Update

Following is a snapshot from my wife's eCAS status which SAYS "DECISION MADE"

We received [WIFE'S NAME]'s application for permanent residence on December 31, 2012.

We started processing [WIFE'S NAME] 's application on April 5, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on [WIFE'S NAME]'s application. The office will contact [WIFE'S NAME] concerning this decision.

We are really WORRIED about the EXACT DECISION. For a POSITIVE outcome (which we are expecting) , what's the normal protocol?
Does NDVO send out email for POSITIVE outcome OR do we just wait for the Passport ? Also, any other way to know in advance of the DECISION?

ANOTHER thing - we haven't got my CANADIAN address updated on my wife's E-CAS status yet? Does the ADDRESS UPDATE happen at the same time (The Decision Made status change happened less than an hour back ) ? or does it some time to reflect e-CAS ?

If you haven't heard anything that would suggest there is a problem, the decision is a positive one. The rules of procedural fairness require they inform you if there are concerns or issues they have to give you an opportunity to address them. Thus, if you haven't heard anything, this would be indicative of a positive decision.

Since you're office is ND, I'm assuming you've sent your wife's passport some time back. Normally, in such a case, e-CAS goes to "DM" when the COPR is printed and counterfoil issued.

Note that NDVO will not mail to a Canadian address - it is against Indian law to send a passport outside India via mail or courier. They will have mailed it to an address in India.

good day mr. leon..need some clarification with the marriage visa...my husband is a canadian citizen and he applied for sponsoring me as a spouse...last january 18, the missasauga sent a confirmation to him that they already received my paper and he is approve to sponsoring me..and later by feb. 18, the missasauga inform him that my papers already sent here in canadian embassy in manila..after that until point in time everytime that his checking the status of my paper tru online they said that medical receive...just need some clarification what will happen next and i heard that other person asking them to submit police certificate from which country they stayed for a year?..is it possible that the immigration officer ask me to submit me also that police certificate..bec i work last 2008 in UAE and 2010-2012 to Kuwait...but i didnt get any police clearance from them..pls. help me..give me some idea..thanks& Godbless

You will be waiting for several months to get anything really.

You do need to get police certificates for any country you lived in for more than 6 months.

its also same like what i got the details from the internet. but it also gives the results for after 13-02-2013. that was the date i installed windows8 for my computer & re installed the skype. so i need the details of the date before this date. thnx anyways for trying to support me. if you get to know something more than that plzzzz send me the news.

hi some clarification?..do i need to provide the police certificate from the 2 country im staying before..for example in uae im staying for 8 months and for kuwait im staying there for 2 years....i need to get a police certificate even its been a long time..that was 2008 on uae and in kuwait 2010-2012..thanks..godbless
