Notifications from CIC through email

I'm a little worried about emails getting lost in my email inbox or something. But I think as long as I add CIC email address to my contact, it should be fine.

Would anyone suggest regular mail? If so, why?

You'll find the current Appendix C here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3907e.pdf

About birth certificates, perhaps you should post in a thread specific to Pakistan.

Hey folks

I recieved my AIP and had to do a new medical as my first one had expired, does anybody have a rough idea of timescales from completing that to update on ECAS or what may happen next etc? I'm hoping they didnt wait for my medical to begin security screenin. I imagine they would though so I'm probably still a few months away from resolution.

I had my medical yesterday (28th Nov 2012)

Thanks
Kenny

Hello . Thank you very much Mr. Leon for answering my query.
i just want to know few more things.
i am from india. how can i show proof of funds. can i open a canadian bank account from india and then transfer the funds into it. or else which is the most convenient way to show the funds. and i plan to come back to india after 4 days and i would like to transfer the funds back to india , when i come back.

then what is the winter clothing i should bring to canada. i will be there for 3 days, and i will not travelling out much. should i bring anything from india or should i purchase the clothes from canada just for 3 days. what are the other things i should take care of.

can someone please guide me on these matters

with warm regards,
Mr. Luke.

Write a letter explaining that you haven't filed yet, and include other proofs of income such as pay stubs, letter from your employer, etc.

Yes, but you also have to explain how you plan on supporting yourself and your spouse.

You're really posting in the wrong forum - this is a temporary foreign worker question.

The answer to your question is "yes, if you have a work permit for 6+ months in a NOC O, A or B category, your spouse/partner qualifies for an open work permit."

Hi, I am currently sponsoring my wife over to canada. Singapore office has received my wife's application on March,17, 2011. Singapore Immigration office requested a DNA for my wife, son, and was handed in on june with positive results. Now ECAS has removed the address and added "We started processing NGUYEN THUY UYEN TRAN's application on November 7, 2012." What does that mean? No request for passport yet.

Any help would be much appreciated.
