Hi i know a refugee who was denied of his PR and is now awaiting for the result of his appeal. He was not given hope on his appeal, someone advice him to get married to a permanent resident here in canada. he is married from his home country and is divorcing his wife so he could marry a PR here in canada. His wife agreed for the divorce so now the divorce is on process. He wanted the divorce to be granted first so he can marry and have a PR. The marriage to the girl is just a marriage for convenience but the problem is he got the girl pregnant w/o the wife knowing it. They just agreed for the divorce so he could have PR but he screwed up and they him and the girl cheated her. the girl fell in love with him so she allowed him to impregnated her. will this be possible, will they will not be caught? they just met 5 mos ago and they are not living together. need reply to my question ASAP. thanks.

Their file will have a LOT of red flags, including the sudden divorce, the new relationship, and the prior failed PR application. Whether or not it is successful will depend upon the examination given by the officer.

He should also keep in mind that the five year sponsorship bar will essentially make it impossible for him to divorce this new person and then remarry his old wife (ignoring the high likelihood of CIC not approving of that sort of relationship - a "divorce of convenience" and a "marriage of convenience").

I don't see any red flags on your case if that is what you mean but it all takes time.

Hi guys! i got this email back after i sent them an email inquiring about my file and this is what i got back after 17 month and 3 weeks, what can this possibly mean??? this is the email "We are waiting for the outcome of the background checks. As soon as we receive the outcome, we will advise applicant about the next steps. Keep in mind that processing times indicated in the website are for 80% of the cases. 20% of the cases take longer". does this mean they have the background checks or whatt!!! im begining to get really pissed off!..

My husband received this email last July 16 2012,.because I have not recieved the letter asking additional documentation and medical instructions which the dated last MAY 07 2012...How long do u think I can have that letter?Cause I live in Mindanao so a little bit away from Manila..any reply much appreciated!thank u

I see no issues with your case. If you look at the "Processing Times: Family Sponsorship" on CIC web site, they are processing April 17. Assessing sponsor step is 91 days as of July 18. You just need to wait a little more. You should get an answer soon.

this is what we got in the sponsorship approval email : If the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is applicable to your application and you have chosen to defer payment of that fee, you will be contacted to make the payment at a later date. What does this really mean? thanks.

if you have received approval you should pay it now to avoid further delays....send a copy of the receipt to both mississauga and santo domingo....

Married to a Canadian citizen. We both are living in US right now. Applied as Outland to Buffalo on March 31, 2012 for my PR. Requested for medicals two weeks ago, sent medical on July 20, 2012. Today my wife got this email

Any idea what next?

Do I also need to renew my FBI clearance check out? I did it last year on October 12.

Now I am wondering how long will it take for them to finally get his COPR, and his new extension landing papers sent to him? I mean it's done, just put it in the envelope already! any ideas would be wonderful. thanks

BUT ON COPR MY(SPONSOR'S ADDRESS) WAS THAT ONE WHICH WE HAD ON THE TIME OF APPLICATION SUBMISSION BUT AFTER THAT I HAD CHANGED THE ADDRESS AND ALSO INFORMED CPC MISSISSAUGA AND CIC ND.... BUT THEY DIDNOT CHANGED IT ON COPR....

WHAT SHOULD I DO KNOW? I HAD BOOKED MY WIFE TICKET FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY....
WILL IT POSE ANY PROBLEM TO HER AT IMMIGRATION ?

i have received 36 pages notes, and on first 28 pages they are talking about same things again and again in codes
i can understand only few things
medical-passed

start time- 08:45
end time - 09:30 (45 minutes ???)
....
....
they started making notes from page 28 and they made 6 notes

they made 6 notes in my notes

TRV refusal on ties and bona fides. no adverse info., sponsor- unemployed, ............talking about first meeting, trips, engagement, marriage, reception........ and couple appears compatible in age, education, marital status and language.the religious marriage was performed according to Hindu customs.

sponsorship approval letter sent to sponsor

CSCD not entered for the following reasons- no biodata on the back of photo-id, visa office not indicated on medical report, sponsor (canadian citizen, currently living outside of Canada)

I cannot imagine why YOUR address (sponsor) on the COPR would make any difference at all, since they would only be examining your wife, and that address has nothing to do with her. So I'd be shocked if the officer checking out her paperwork even looked at your address, let alone cared that it changed in the time it took them to process her application. But of course, someone else may have experienced this before and be able to provide you with specific advice.

hi every one i am sorry to bug you guys but i need to know
i call the call center today and they send my medical and pcc is now showing in there system and they are awaiting my return to canada fee $400 with i already send in with my pcc

1. do you guys thik the officer have not put it in the system yet are do you guyz think i should fax it in to him my copy of the receipt
2. the fact that it is showing in there system mr and pcc how much longer do you guyz think it will take
can any one please help
