Hello guys,

I applied Dec 3 inland, received AOR Dec 22 and BIL on Jan 24. I completed my biometrics the next day and it got updated the same day on GCKEY and on pr tracker the very next day. Haven't heard anything since, haven't received any pre arrival or anything. Anyone in same situation? Seemed odd as I saw most people received pre arrival services letter the same day or even before BIL.

It's totally random. Some get it same day, some weeks or months after. There's no set timeline or order

There's close to 80-90k applications for spousal alone. What you observed is a small sample size, so don't worry, lot of others in same boat

Hi guys, how long does it usually take to get sponsor approval? I submitted the outland application on Oct 16th, 2023, and got AOR on Dec 7th, 2023, and nothing has moved since then. The sponsor's tracker shows Eligibility in progress since Dec 7th, 2023.

Sent my Application on March 3rd, 2023
Apr 18 - Application received
June 23 - biometrics request
June 26 - transfered aplication from Sydney VO to Mexico VO
June 28 - biometrics completed
Sept 20 - Medical request
Sept 29 - Medical completed
Oct 26 - Eligibility completed
Oct 27 - Received pre arrival service email
No updates after that... i send a webform last week but nothing yet

Hi guys,

I applied OWP (on Nov. 27, 2023) for my wife during her waiting for in canada sponsorship PR.

However, I am confused on how to check the OWP updates. I used this website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html , but I get no any update except the "Submission Confirmation " letter.

I checked online resources, and the website: https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register may also be used to track OWP. However, with this website, I failed to find my application.

Which website do you guys used for status tracking about OWP status?

AOR on Jan 16th and haven't had anything since.

Probably just got excited as I got AOR after 40 days outland - thought everything would move just as quick! A true test of patience

JANURY 31, 2024 Your Application is in Progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
