My point was that we have no details on WHY its taking longer. ie are you married, common law, living together, lived in different countries, been married before, sponsor is citzen, a PR etc have they sponsored someone before..... all of these things can cause longer processing yet you havent...

wrong I got MSP coverage as a spouse of a BC resident with only AOR and before my work permit was issued.

She needs to be truthful if asked, but she doesnt need to give a reason other than visiting spouse as that is the purpose of her visa. if you search for update address IRCC it will bring up the page.

Applied April 28 in hand Sept 3 so yes it is taking a long time for OWP. The only quick ones I have seen are those that already have TR under another status. but first time OWP for family class expect 4-5 months wait.

The trackers are unreliable at best. I have receieved P1 and P2 - yet my tracker says BGC and Eligibility in Progress. The only reliable information is what comes to your email.

and yes you can leave the country for whatever reason you wish, it just may nto be as simple to renew her PR or gain citizenship

Just about done. Started Outland last December and moved mid process. Portal 2 repsonded to on Oct 15 and COPR number is in all trackers just waiting ECOPR

yes - for outland - where the canadian sponsor is living outside canada - you have to prove intent to move back for Inland - you must be IN CANADA to apply
