Hi, anyone here had a problem with background check cause their NBI remarks says 'No Criminal Record'? Did it delay your processing time? What additional documents/requirements did cic ask you to provide? *asking specifically for a dismissed case* TIA

Also, if you had the same case, were you denied or approved PR?

Hi Everyone - Is there an application here that is already 8 months after application received, and still there’s no update? No biometric request, no sponsor approval? Mine is PA - from Philippines, Sponsor is PR from Toronto. Can you please advise what we should do so that our application will progress?
It's the same with my application 7months and nothing only received letter to pay for the biometric fee nothing else

You will be required to provide a written explanation to the remark "no criminal record"

Good morning y’all! I’ve done biometrics since November 2019 until now ECAS says they have not received my fingerprints, but CIC doesn’t contact me since the deadline was December 2019. Should I contact them about it?

Ecas WONT show your biometrics. However your GCKEY will.

Hi all,

I recently got married to my wife who is the PR of Canada. While we are preparing our documents for the application process, please tell me how much time does the Spousal PR processing takes?
I am from India and residing in India, what is the list of documents me or my spouse has to collect? We have registered the marriage and we both have added spouse names to the passports.

Thanks

Kinda the same here, but I haven’t received MR yet. I’m waiting for my CSQ. My files moved to VO last year.

If I am not Wrong CSQ is for Quebec and which month your file moved VO and is it NDVO ? Our file moved real quick and I was not aware these days they issue PRe-Arrival Letters before PPR.

Hi, I am a PR and want to get married in about 2 to 5 months and bring wife to Canada without much delay. So, I am considering both Inland and Outland options and prefer which ever would have least time of being apart.

1. For Inland: Is it possible to apply for Visitor visa(VV) for future wife before marriage and after getting VV (If approved), get married? Is this a feasible idea? If so, can I mention about future wife to CIC that we have intention to get married or is it preferred to mention her as a friend and send out an invitation letter for the processing of VV? Which is a safer option for VV approval?
2. For Outland: Would Outland application processing take lesser time than inland application and would be the better option for me? If not I will not consider this route.

Cheers & TIA
