Spousal sponsorship

Hi everyone!

Spouse residing in pakistan, and I am Canadian PR residing in canada.
Mail sent for sponsorship 1st Aug.
Mail recieved 7th Aug.
No updates/email yet.
Can somebody please guide me on what/when should I expect next?

Panicking here. Help!

Should get AOR within 6-9 weeks
 
Hey all,
I'm in spousal sponsorship and received email dated July 24, 2019 asking for submitting updated documents. I do not have any updated infor to submit except IMM5669.
I thought I do not need to declare personal history an address from the age of 18. I only provided for the past 10 years.
I just realized now that if over 18 years old, I have to declare all from 18.
The dead line to submit the doc was Aug 23, it was already passed. What should I do now? I just received Bulletin 1 today.

Any one has such experience or suggestion? Please help

Send the docs with a letter explaining why you are late...print off their email showing date received. You're not the only one who's had this experience. I would also call them immediately so they know you haven't abandoned your app.

Thank you for your replying. Any idea which number I should call? I am looking for it but no clues.

It is quite confused as in the form it says " provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent. " that is the reason I thought I do not need to provide infor for more than 10 years.
Now I am worrying if I send doc with explanation, will it delay the process? or if i ignore it, will the case be denied?

Do not ignore the request. Call them to get clarification if you think you've provided what they've asked for. They do make mistakes but you need to talk to them about it.
 
Anyone here has their local office as Saskatoon, SK ? and if they know after how long DM on ecas they schedule the interview ?
 
I am sponsoring my wife from within Canada. We both live here and I found 2 checklists while in the process of filling out the application IMM5533 and IMM5287

Which checklist am I supposed to use. Please help.

I have applied for spouse visa on July 11th and it reached immigration office on July 15th, but didn’t receive any update regarding the process.
Can any one please help me with the timeline like how long for file number, medicals ....

3-8 weeks for AOR
Medicals and biometrics to follow maybe 4 weeks after that.
Then it's a waiting game.

In past we saw max 6 to 7 months in interview cases from Date of Medicals could be earlier too.
 
  1. Hello everyone,

    This is my first time writing here and i have this confusion about IMM0008 and IMM0008DEP.
    I already sent my application to canada.
    I did a small mistake in form IMM0008, where i gave details about all my family members including parents and siblings as non-accompanying and same goes to form IMM0008DEP.

    So i really worried if they will return my application because of it. It will be really helpful as this will be a second time we are applying.

    Please help!!!!

guys they are asking more wed pictures. i have those pictures as soft copy can i past those in the word doc with the description and upload it or have to make hard copy of the selected photos and write it behind the picture and then scan it and upload? thanks in advance guys. i hope you guys understand my question.
