hi canuck_in_uk,

thank you .

there was no legal agreement granting the custody of the kids to their mother. i have been an expat for 13 years so it was understood that the kids will be with her.

although our marriage has been annulled since 2012, the discussions regarding properties, custody and visitation rights have been bogged down due to the mother's unwillingness to cooperate.

the kids, especially the eldest, now share their mother's sentiments, and with coaching from her, will say what she wants in court.

You need to contact the mother and attempt to have the children undergo medicals. Document your efforts and get the notarized letter. You will need to request to have the children excluded.

Yes, start now. You don't need their passport numbers to apply.

I just filed in May, still waiting for AOR. But the answer to your question regarding UCI is definite 'yes' ;)
Hi, Can you respond to my query?

I am filling up the forms for the spousal application under Family class as my wife stays out of Canada. One of the additional or country specific document that I also have to submit is the "IMM5562 (Supplementary travel information)". As I am the sponsor for my wife, should the travel details of mine (sponsor & spouse) also be filled in that application?

As I was browsing the internet, i find a difference of opinion in some of the forums. It would be very helpful if anyone can guide me who has already filled the application and was successfully received their AOR.

Thanks

Can you help me!
We began submitting the immigration application in 2011, after a successful appeal in 2016, we file it back August 2016.
Chúng tôi đã kiểm tra Dna vào ngày 3 November 2017. Since then it has been over 6 months now. And since we filed back in August 2016, we have not had a medical report yet.
Tôi nên làm gì?

Post all in English. Given you had to appeal, normal processing times don't apply, so no one can tell you how long it will take.

Hi Guys,

I am sponsoring my wife and 2 kids( Under 18 years), they are currently living in India! Do I need to submit IMM5481? If not what financial evaluation document required? My document checklist doesn't call for that, but I came across the same online somewhere.

Your help is much appreciated.

Why are you looking for random stuff "somewhere" when the checklist and guide tell you exactly what to submit?

Follow. The. Checklist.

Hi Guys,

i am in Canada and sponsoring my spouse and kids. DO I need to include IMM5604? i.e., the declaration from non-accompanying parent of minors immigrating to canada.

If you are the legal parent, no. If you are not the legal parent, then your spouse needs to provide the IMM5604 from the other parent or court documents showing full legal custody.

We are still married, but I am already here. My wife and kids will be joining later. in this case?
