Perhaps but there have been many applicants from such countries on the forum. I can't recall ever seeing a request to age 16 for anyone. In one of her posts, she mentioned that the PA is from a war torn country. That might be the reason.

I suspect it may be trying to verify legal and illegal travel as well as document movements during claim for refugee status prior to getting married.People often receive a request to go back to age 18 even after they have provided the 10 years. However, I've never seen a request to go back to age 16. I would clarify with the VO. Have you requested GCMS notes?
I have not requested GCMS notes, however, was informed that the application was awaiting officer review a couple weeks back and then received an invitation for pre-arrival services last week.Perhaps but there have been many applicants from such countries on the forum. I am also going on same timeline as yours. Applied in April 2017. Same message goes for me, review of eligibility hasnt started yet. Lets hope for the best. April is near and around the corner.Hi,
I applied for my husband spousal sponsorship on April 2017.
Well considerably my husband's case was complicated but we did not have any problems so far. CIC never sent us a request for additional documents. We got our acknowledgment of receipt after one month, and request for police clearance certificate and schedule A form, which we have sent. it took us a while for arranging police clearance certificate from home country, but we submitted it and got a medical request on November 2017. After one week of submitting medical our status got updated that medical is approved. but now, we have not heard from them so far. A message appears on his link that they will make a decision once they start reviewing his eligibility. So my question is; isn't he eligible after clearing his police & medical records. If yes then why have not we heard from them so far.Can inland applicants 2017 share their timeline?
your knowledge and response will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Leo
