Got an interview email but still haven't got medical request!! What should I do ? Is it normal?

At the back of the 20 photos do we we write the name and date of birth of just the principal applicant or both the principal applicant and sponsor? I just wanted to be 100% sure since on the checklist the photos are mentioned under Supporting Document for Sponsored Persons (Principal Applicant and all Family Members)

hi there, my case is a little bit confusing, I divorced with my husband several years ago but we marry again in Jan 2017. I am PR, and so does our son. I am sponsoring my husband now.
1, what should I answer for question " do you and the person you are sponsoring have a child together who may have a claim to Canadian citizenship? my understanding is "No" because the son is not born in Canada, he only has PR.
2, how to answer the question "have you and your sponsor been married for a minimum of 2 years as of the date of application?" in our first marriage, we have lived together over 10 years, but for this second marriage, it only 5 months.
Thanks in Advance!

Hi ! I am sponsoring my wife, and we sent the paper in October 2016.
I was approved as a sponsor.
2 months ago, we received a letter saying we needed more proof of ongoing relationship, that we provided.
We haven't heard anything since then.

My question is, what is the most efficient way to see how things are going on ?
Is it better to call ( considering the efficiency of most public services, I fear it ) , or is there a website where the progress and steps are written ?

Thank you,

For question 2(my opinion)---I think you should answer based on your present marriage 5months
but in the column for additional information point out that you have been together for over 10years , divorced and remarried etc

Hi Everyone,
Plz Guide me Urgently

I submitted my spousal application on March 11, 2017. Then I got an SMS on March 14th saying that IRCC has received my application, since then I haven't been contacted via email or phone. Now my spouse's representative check his email and he had received an email in junk folder on April 6 in which they told that one thing is missing and asked to provide utility bills or same residencial address so untill then file will not be accepted. Anyhow they gave 45 days to submit those supporting documents otherwise file'll be returned but when we find that letter time is over 5 days may be so please guide me what to do? Can i still send information from here with in canada after getting information from my spouse via email or they need to send directly to Mississauga office. I already complained 4/5 days ago that i did not receive any letter after submitting file via Telephone.

I am a bit confused..about complaining via telephone stuff. :)

Have you applied Inland?
If so, urgently call them and ask if application package has been returned or not. I know, I it hard to get through machine to human but you should call early in the morning tomorrow, around 7/730am.

Even though 45 days has expired they still might have your application package stuck somewhere. If not then wait until your package got returned, attach additional document that's been requested and send it over again via express mail. Fire your representative and always...ALWAYS check your spam folder!

I just remember on our PPR email, there is no APPENDIX B enclosed on PPR email. Or even on the guidelines, they only asks us to submit one copy of PPR letter, passport and the 2 photos. But no Appendix B, is it normal?

You can check your ECAS and your MyCic account. It shows you there the progress of your application :)

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what questions can we expect in in-Canada spousponsorship

depends on the interview. There's the relationship interview where they get a bit personal and then the landing interview..to pretty much finalize the process and grant he/she P.R. Relationship interview also lasts longer. While the landing interview is 5-10 mins

Thank you,

You should definitely call. You can also just inquire using the webform however it is quite backlogged. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

It's a spousal interview. They are asking for passport and other relationship proofs. Nothing else

In my ECAS account, I got this ;

Permanent Residence

  1. We received your application for permanent residence on October 25, 2016.
  2. We started processing your application on November 21, 2016.
  3. Medical results have been received.
  4. We sent you correspondence on February 3, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Is it normal that it ends here ? I sent the extra information as they said. Am I just being impatient ? If I should call, what is the best phone number to reach someone and not be transfered ?
