You cannot sponsor someone for a TRV, they must apply and be approved on their own merits. You can provide a letter of support. You would be better off asking about that in the Visitors section of the forum.

The parents can apply for PR through an economic stream if they qualify. If not, you can sponsor them for PR once you meet the requirements as a sponsor.

Thank you so much MilesAway .i'm sorry,i have one more question.i got married last few months ago.my husband is a Canadian citizen.we have all the evidence when we met first time, and our marriage invitation, photos, marriage certificates, billing proofs.i'm qualified in education and have 8 years working experience even in abroad.m husband said i can be there in Canada within 8-12 m months.is it possible?

Hello am new here

:)

Hello Everyone,

I am new in this forum and I have read so many of your posts already ;)
However I have not applied through CanadaVisa website! I just did it personally; but I would like to stay in touch to exchange information with all of you :)

We have sent our Common-in-Law application (Inland) on September 29th 2016 and received first AOR on my email Oct 26th
Also I see my application started processing in Oct 26th
There are two AOR in my ECAS which I don't know what are the differences between them! is there anyway to find out what stage we are at with out application?

Thanks,

Hello Friends,

A quick question - I have submitted the file for spousal sponsorship for my wife at Mississauga, Canada, on 7th Nov 2016.
What is the expected time to receive the first email from their side?
I have also submitted my wife's application for PR on 7th Nov. I got AOR1 on 24th Nov and CIC has updated the status on website too that they started processing sponsorship application.
I am expecting my sponsorship evaluation outcome in 1st week of December. Fingers crossed :)

wife can tarvel to canada without permission letter of her husband from pakistan

Work experience and qualifications don't matter for spousal sponsorship. The timeline depends on your visa office. What is your VO? I would recommend finding the thread for your VO to see what the current trends are. A year is fairly reasonable and possible, though it depends on the strength of your application as well as a bit of luck with visa offices/officers.

Looks like COPRs inssuance is getting slow this month at some VOs. Wondering if it's because the annual quota is up for them or is it due to Christmas?

I definitely notice it slowing down for sure!

Has anyone had any experience sending in a new updated police check even before being asked to do so? I'm still going back and forth about sending in my husband's updated police clearance from the FBI to the Ottawa visa office since it took so long to get. There's nothing new on it but the original one we sent is from October of last year.

I apologize for asking again because a few people already said yes to sending it in right away. Any advice would be appreciated! :)
