Alhumdullilah ! Got an email from Immigaration Canada asking me to send Passport to Islamabad Visa office.

Is this considered to be a PPR?

Whats the process to submit my passport and photographs.

Do i have to to send them new photographs or the one which i submitted it with the application?

Yes that is a passport request.
Just see previous few posts, we have mentioned what to submit. Can you please let us know what date was your spousal application received in CPC-Mississauga?

mycic finally showing as "This application has been approved" but it's asking to upload a digital replacement pic. I've uploaded it but I get a message in green " Uploaded - not submitted to IRCC"
does this mean its done..? also cic site has been wonky for a few hours now..

Make sure after you upload it, you hit "Next". You'll see an updated status of Provided after you provided your documents.

Do let us know when you get COPR.

You dont have to upload pp on mycic, thats for visa exempt countries.

You have to submit PP at VFS lahore as per instructions mentioned (PP, copy of passport request letter, photographs as per specifications, appendix a)

Those who have submitted PP, please confirm and correct if i am wrong. (your wife can also call vfs lahore before submitting and confirm)

Few questions - appreciate your response.

- Although the letter says to send it to the 'Islamabad', I believe we can still send to the location in Lahore and they transfer to Islamabad?
- Is Lahore VFS location operated by Gerry's?
- The appendix A asks for the Spouse (which would be me) details as well - Do I need to add it although I'm not accompanying?
- We need to have physical pictures? I heard from some people that VFS takes pictures on the spot
- What's the fee that would need to be paid in cash?
- I don't need to upload anything at all on MyCIC for passport? The application area says under Details: Replacement Needed and under Document name: Passport (Required). Maybe they are only looking for copy of the passport?

I was so close to send voluntary proof documents; so glad that I did not send it as it would have caused confusion at this point.

I don't remember the exact steps. See in the other posts, you should be able to find more instructions. Here is what was provided by MM345 (with F-Ray comments on success):

Continue to GCKey. After you create your account, link your PR application to the account. (If you do not have a representative (lawyer), you will be able to link your application to your account)


1. Log in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application (Assuming 1 PA, 1 Sponsor, 0 dependents)
