A quick question, do you think the visa officers actually read through chat history and communication proof?

Also, do you know if someone else (father in law) can drop and pick up my husbands passport from the Islamabad visa office? If yes, what would the procedure be?

Yes but if you're still in USA or lived after applying then you have to provided an updated PCC

But I am neither in USA nor went there after applying, so still we need to provided updated FBI clearance??? Thats not fair, it is a long process to wait for.

No then u don't need to procide updated one just explain to them that i never went back to usa. They want a PCC after the day of leaving any country.

I don't think so that they read everything. Also most of us chat in roman urdu how they gonna read I guess VFs guys also take biometrics of the applicant when they send their passport but not sure about it.

Visa expiry is linked with medical expiry. If they issue a visa after a month or so he will be only left with only one month to fly. I think they just want to make sure that whenever you are issued a visa (in one or two months) you have enough time to prepare
