Yeh my wife did medical on the same day, hopefully they extend ours so we don't have to do the remeds.

I don't know ...may be they need enought time before the medical get expire

don't worry, it's common for them to ask for remeds up to 2 months before the upfront expires.

remed completed and additional documents sent. they should have everything they need now.

Need help regarding the fees we have to pay for Spousal Sponsorship. Please confirm if these are the only fees that have to be paid. Thanks

Sponsorship application (per application) - $75
Principal applicant (spouse, common-law or conjugal partner, or other family member) - #475
Right of Permanent Residence Fee - $490.00
Total: 1040

Yes, that is if only your spouse is on the application (no children).

A friend who is a Feb applicant got DM today.

App filled. 5 Feb
SA: 15 March
Transfered: 25 march
DM: 1st Oct

yes DM on PA side and PR is a pakistani citizen living in Pakistan. Nikah only mean no formal rukhsati

nikkah only cases without rukhsati are fine IF the sponsor visits their spouse after filing the app and/or cohabits with their spouse for a while after the nikkah.

this depends on the visa officer of course, but i did notice that we're starting to see less cases of applicants being asked to perform a formal rukhsati celebration.

salam alaikum to all brothers and sisters. can anybody guide me how to link your application via using GCKey. i am trying a lot on daily basis but not succeeded and unable to see the steps of my application. i applied in march 2016, one side of the application is showing decision made while other side in process on ecas status. plz guide me with your opinions. thnx a lot.

Try this

The combination of information that I used to find the application (finally) was:

1. Logged in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. I am sponsoring my husband, no dependents.
