That's what I'm concerned about as it is mentioned on CIC web site that Proxy marriage isn't accepted as of 2015. I had my nikkah in 2013, at that time this rule wasn't effective.
I don't have children but I had an unfortunate miscarriage & have reports of that stating my husband's name. I'm considering to attach those with my application. Beside that, I've pictures of my 3 day wedding ceremony.
I don't think we can alter Nikkah date to marriage date.

Its good to just consult a lawyer for your peace of mind (Its usually free). But as far as marriage goes you should be fine since spousal immigration is based on everything you present to the officer. Even though you had a proxy wedding you didn't apply on that basis , you had a full wedding after that with friends family and lived with your husband. The more important thing you will have to answer to immigration is why you are applying so late for immigration. They will ask you that.

You also mentioned your on EI so that could be of concern, best to ask a lawyer, I know they reject the sponsor if they are on government assistance , don't know if EI falls under that.

Nope not at all as EI is a different thing and social / government assistance is different u can sponsor your spouse if you're on EI

Interview went well, im nov 2015 applicant. Had remed 16 feb nd also submitted police cert in dat interview.

No actually im.thr sponsor n husband is being sponsored . We both attended interview and they told us theyll reply within 1 month to 3 months time.nothing said abt security chks

U shud have asked abt dat. I questioned her almost everything once she told me dat my inv is done.

Thats the reply they gave to eveeyone present there.
She told me she has to make a decision whoch takes time and they have background checks also.

My interview went good as well. She said that i m happy by ur answers and the next step is security checks. Which can take 1 month to 3 months as u have foriegn travels. I think this is the standard answer they give to everyone

What kind of foreign travel did you make? was the duration for a few weeks or months/years?

I have a travel history as well and i have heard that this causes extensive background checks and delays.

Helo.. please help.. i seem to have lost my old passport wth my maiden name..it was blank though.. is it compulsory to attach the previous passport wth my current pasport? Or just the current passport needs to b submitted? Plz guide if anyone has any experience in this matter..

I diubt if u have to submit the old passport. U carry old passport if u have visa on it and thats all.

URGENT HELP REQUIRED FROM Everyone!!!
I'm posting this enquiry one more time.

I sponsored my wife back in November 2016 and now in the 3rd week of February, Allah Almighty Has blessed me with a BABY BOY Alhamdollilah. What's the process of requesting the LVO to add dependant in the file? Do I've to email them and inform them about the birth or just fill the necessary forms and pay the fee and send complete package to LVO or CPC-MISSISSAUGA by mail?

Your recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Ofcourse CIC has to be informed and documents be sent to them. how else will they know?

Hi admin hope you guys are fine I just noticed In spread sheet the cases which have been finished there number of days are also increasing it should be stopped at the time when case has been finished.
