Hi,

I know one member personally. His application was refused as his wife (PR) left Canada for more than 3 months after applying for him. His application got refused at last stage when they asked for updated information "Where PR lived after filing the application". As per my discussion with him, Her wife got sponsor approval in June 2015 and left Canada in July 2015. She came back in November 2015 but they got refusal in Jan or Feb 2016. They applied again and Got visa in November 2016.
That's what he told me over phone. I think other senior members of this thread are also aware of his case. He was on this thread with "Imran364".

Yup thats true. If u read old comments of imran364 he used to ask people for help after refusal.

One more thing I would like to mention that I ordered GCMS notes and in them My new updated address is mentioned but when i login into my account . there my old address is mentioned . Any thoughts or suggestions guys ?

What are the comments of visa officer in your notes? Did u pass eligibility?

What does ur MP say?

i have read in GCMS notes thread on this forum that criminality and background comments can be interpreted. they have codes in the notes. If ur notes have these codes u can seek help on the GCMS thread and to exactly figure out where the problem is..

My Mp said nothing except tellin me the status.. in decemeber he told us that only one step remaining before decision i.e. security..

Discuss ur case on the GCMS thread. Share your comments from the notes.. you might be able to get a lead from there about the source of hold up. Also read up comments on that thread relating to security. It can help u understand that too.

Based on my understanding of the system, CIC gets clearance from pak govt authorities about ur background checks etc.. it could be that the pak govt is being slow in sharing the relevant information about u which CIC needs. U cannot expect pak govt or defence authorities to be quick about anything. Sadly, procrastination runs high with this nation.

Speak to the MP in more detail. Explain to him/her ur situation and convince him/her to ask the Visa officer that exactly where and why is this hold up in security and BG.

I had a interview in islamabad i was calling because the vo was thought pur marriage was not genuine and the intent to return to canada was not clear
The interview went well and the vo told me at the inteeview that the good news for me is that she is a 100% satisfied with our relation and but the intention to return she is still not a 100% satisfied. I tried to explain alot to her why we wanto return and how will we settle in which area we will live and my brother just moved back to canada also.who.will help.us.
But she said we dont have a concrete plan for our return to which i said my plans depend on my familys visas.how can make a practical plan from here unless i know my family is being the visa or.no.
She said she will reply without a month to 3 months and they have background chks to make as well.
I am really stressed.
What do the experiencee members think ?
I told her ive lookee upoun our cost of livimg there the area we will live in and why and the rents for 2 bedroom apartments although i still havent looked for my sona schools . Our main reason to go is security she said ur husband is making millions here why do u wanto relocate we told her because we can afford a better life in a better country the life here is too stressfull anr insecure and my husbanr has been in his business for he past 10 years he is experienced enough to settle there.

You can also post about ur situation by starting a new thread on this forum. Telling ppl that u have experience of working the defence industry and want to know of any such similar cases (irrespective of their nationality). U might get to know of others who have been in ur situation and how they dealt with it.

Can u move back to canada now? and then write a letter to them that u have made the move already thus it can help in reducing CIC's doubts about ur move?
