Spousal Sponsorship - Manila

Hi Everyone:
Happy Canada Day . I have a question I submitted my spousal sponsorship February ,2013 to CPC in Mississauga Ontario. Approval of sponsorship was emailed to me on March 1, 2013 and states that it was forwarded to visa office in manila and that Medical results have been received too. Since then, there is no update. I just want to know what is the next step that will happen and how long will it take for her visa to be approved?. I looked at the new timeline and it said 14 months. Is that true? and is my application falls into this new timeline . Hope to get help from here. Thank you & God Bless

Yes, your application falls into that timeline. As well, the visa officers are on strike right now, so that is expected to cause further delays to most apps. Don't expect to hear from the visa office until the beginning of next year at the earliest.

You should join the Manila thread, they will be able to give you more info about their timelines.

Yup, join the Manila thread there's one for english speakers and one for people who speak tagalog.
As of the moment, December applicants have been getting passport requests. I am a february applicant too, we're looking at around 2-3 months to get our passport request.

i got married last April and im just waiting for our marriage certificate to arrive here in toronto thru LBC.
as soon as i get it, i will start compiling our requirements. i hope i can be guided.

i just red ur post and i just want to ask you something with regards the application u had submitted because i am just curious with some other things about sending it out.
My husband just submitted my application (spousal sponsorship) just last week, Sept 4 via UPS and it was sign by SPENCER, just wanna know if did you received any notification via email days after you submitted it that they've received ur application already? and also to what address did you send ur papers? coz mine, i send it to its physical address....hope i can hear response from u...tnx

My wife received a letter thatmy application started processing june 11,2013..medical received..how long will it take fir an update?my wife is giving birth soon.. hope to hear replies from you guys..thank you
