Hey, it is sad that I have to share the news that I was refuse a visa today:( just at the airport waiting to board a flight home to my country nigeria. Felt insulted by the VO's questions and the two ladies were very rude. Can't even say much right now BC I'm heart broken already. Just pray for my wife and I please.

so sorry to hear about your interview...did they at least give you a reason as to why they refused you? as Farhanna said, I would re apply....taking into consideration any feedback they may have given you.

Hello Jupiter,

You need to bring 3 update form for your interview--------------

Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 536 KB)

• Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] (PDF, 170 KB)

• Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] (PDF, 88 KB)

When I finished my interview the immigration officer kept my IMM 0008 and IMM5406 and also police clearance. So you have to ready 3 forms for your interview.

Regards
Farhana.

Hello Farhana!

For all of those forms do we need to fill out the new form and validate it? Or we just bring our old copies? For the police clearance do we have to take the original one? Because we submitted our original police clearance and I only keep the legalised copy of my police clearance

Hello everyone,

Hassan vai, farhana apu, jupiter16, piotpeot, today i faced my interview at Canadian High Commission in Dhaka..... Allhamdulillah....Allhamdulillah....Allhamdulillah it was sooooo good experience. The immigration officer was a Canadian and he was soo good and jolly minded. My whole interview i just feel like it was tea time conversation. He didn't ask me any critical question he just see all the evidence like all the photos and was making joke of them. At last he asked me for my police certificate and all new update form and kept them. then tell me to wait for couple of weeks for decision. than i was looking at him then he told if u have any ques u can asked i said no sir, then he started to laugh and told me ask anything you want than i asked "how was my interview sir?" he replied " it was terrible than he said oo man im joking it was fine im satisfied wait for the decision. then agian he told me do u know what is the next process? it is the decision either you will pass or your application will be refuse but don't panic i haven't seen anything to refuse your application so it gonna be okay. i'll let you what to do next in writting, till then wait.

Hassan vai, farhana apu should i espect my remed and PPR? in shaa allah.

Congratulation buddy!

Inshallah you will get very good news pretty soon ;D ;D

Sorry to hear this....Its really shocking and hard to absorb such enormous mental stress.

You have to be very serious now and take all steps necessary to overcome this situation.

Submit appeal at IAD within 30 days....Get the blue book (your case file)......

Try for ADR first......

Review everything....try to find out reasons why they made the negative decision....

This time organize all relationship proofs very carefully....Include solid evidences.....ongoing communication logs......

If possible get a good immigration consultant to help you out.....

Wish you all the best.

Are you suppose to provide all those things at the interview or at the time you're submitting the initial Application?

Thanks

Hi MonzB,

In order to get your file processed smoothly, yes you need to provide solid relationship proofs upfront while submitting your initial application. For files not so straight forward having some red flags need special care.....need additional relationship proofs.....proof of cohabition for a reasonable period......

Hello guyz, im grateful to Allah.
i faced my interview and it was well. the canadian officer said that he is satisfied and convinced (though i think i cud do well more :-\)
i faced many quaestions there as i hav issues with me and my husband age gap. i truthfully told everything. and he was satisfied.
he asked many questions. also some q ues to make nervous but i wasnt get misguided. though my throat was like a desert area.
the officer was very competent. He told me u shud do ur remedical right away. he told me that u dont need to get an email from visa office. u go to ur doctor and ask them to do medical right now. ;D the officer didnt smile at all .lol

i hope everything goes well. pray for me everyone
