Hi,Vkc143 said:Hey guys my wife got her interview done at NDVO on Nov30th, interviewer was a nice Canadian lady. She was nice to my wife and she didn't ask too many questions but she did mention about photographs and me not costing India this year and also said something about the phone calls. (My wife's medical is expiring on Dec 10,2016.
So I just the status online the very next day after the interview.

Background check - in process

Background check went from "not started" to "in process"
And interview "not needed" to "complete"
I'm just little worried and confused. What does it really means
Please help.
If the interview went well and the interviewer was apparently satisfied with your wife's answers, you may expect PPR in 4-6 weeks!
Basically your wife should get a signal from the interviewer's body language whether positive or negative. Giving back passport is normal...not to be worried for that.
Good luck!
