Spousal Sponsorship Interview Questionaires, Experience, Preparations

Hello everyone,

Hassan vai, farhana apu, jupiter16, piotpeot, today i faced my interview at Canadian High Commission in Dhaka..... Allhamdulillah....Allhamdulillah....Allhamdulillah it was sooooo good experience.The immigration officer was a Canadian and he was soo good and jolly minded. My whole interview i just feel like it was tea time conversation. He didn't ask me any critical question he just see all the evidence like all the photos and was making joke of them. At last he asked me for my police certificate and all new update form and kept them. then tell me to wait for couple of weeks for decision. than i was looking at him then he told if u have any ques u can asked i said no sir, then he started to laugh and told me ask anything you want than i asked "how was my interview sir?" he replied " it was terrible than he said oo man im joking it was fine im satisfied wait for the decision. then agian he told me do u know what is the next process? it is the decision either you will pass or your application will be refuse but don't panic i haven't seen anything to refuse your application so it gonna be okay. i'll let you what to do next in writting, till then wait.

Today I just waiting for your interview story. Glad to know that your immigration officer is Canadian. Canadian immigration officers are all the time too good but Asian, Chinese or other country immigration officer are not good like Canadian immigration officer. I don’t know why the officers are so rude and make applicant life impossible.

You will get your Re-medical within 7 days or a month. I am very happy that your interview is good and the officer talk to your very friendly. I wish every immigration officer like Canadian immigration officer.

dear hassan vai nd farhana apa how long interview does take place?

First marriage interview is all the time short and easy interview. The interview will take time 15 or 30 min. Second marriage interview is not easy and hard interview. It will take time 1 hour to 2 hours depends on immigration officer questions.

Love(ao), javed ,jwelsingh and Sam wife faced the easy interview because all applicants has first marriage. If your carefully notice that Farhana 766, ZEE and other second marriage applicant interview are not easy. In my interview the officer ask me tough questions and in Zee wife interview the officer read her fb and mobile personal message. So first marriage and second marriage interview is totally different. Sometime Second marriage interview are refused by immigration officer.

Apu, vai , i assemble all the evidence and doc in different envelops , when the officer was asking for what he wants i was taking that envelops from my bag and giving to him then the officer told me "i like your organizing". at last when he was making jokes he told me "Man i understand you are fully prepared for your interview thats good.i have seen what i wanted to see and i'm satisfied"

The officer only took my police certificate and update form( IMM docs). In shaa allah you will also face a easy interview like me.

Hey, it is sad that I have to share the news that I was refuse a visa today just at the airport waiting to board a flight home to my country nigeria. Felt insulted by the VO's questions and the two ladies were very rude. Can't even say much right now BC I'm heart broken already. Just pray for my wife and I please.

Sorry to hear about your interview. Its really painful because I know if VO become rude how one person feel. I will advise you to reapply your application. Appeal is a long process.

• Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] (PDF, 170 KB)


• Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] (PDF, 88 KB)


When I finished my interview the immigration officer kept my IMM 0008 and IMM5406 and also police clearance. So you have to ready 3 forms for your interview.

Your interview is knocking at the door. I advise you don’t feel nervous make yourself confident. Don’t think about refuse, just think positive interview result. If any worse situation happens don’t get nervous, try to convince your immigration officer. If you not try to convince your officer may be officer will think you tell lie. Never ever confused and change your question answer. All the best for your interview.
