Going out on a limb here but it sounds as if there's something in your history in Canada which is causing them concern, such as concern you are in another relationship and therefore your marriage is not genuine, or concern you have engaged in illegal activity in Canada. It's something and they are serious about it.
Perhaps you should engage an immigration attorney and prepare to send any other additional information to Immigration as a pro-active measure; any information which might help to explain any situation which has given them concern. Just making up an example here - for example if you have a male roommate who is only a roommate, perhaps you need to provide further proof that no relationship exists, or proof that you lawfully support yourself.
I wish you good luck but there's no point in pretending that Immigration doesn't seem to have serious concerns with your application.

Hello BethanyM,

Good explanation and example. If Rummu application is refuse why her application status is still “IN PROCESS”. Many applicants who did their interview and refuse within 3 weeks and their application status are “DECISION MADE”.

Rumu husband did his interview 1st February 2016 and his interview is very simple. The immigration officer ask her husband only 3 questions. If the officer has a lot of doubt about her application may be they took her husband interview 2 hours like me. The officer asks 3 questions and gave him 8 weeks and if the officer refuses she will know about it from her application status. It already 3 month left and she does not get her interview result. But in this forum I read many refuse case. Every refuse case gets their result within 3 weeks or 1 month.

May be she misses immigration officer call. Now a day some time the immigration officer call sponsor after one month later for his or her interview over phone

Regards

Farhana

You are right Farhana, it will be a futile exercise for any wild guess when we don't know anything about what is going on with her file. As I have pointed out GCMS notes when received could throw some lights for sure!

Dear All,

I have done my medical exam today at the following CIC approved facility:

Name: Lina Shahnaz Parveen Hoq
Address: Green Crescent Health Services,
60 Park Rd,
Baridhara Diplomatic Zone,
1212
Telephone: (88) (02) - 8810486, 8817335, 9862384
Spoken Languages: Bengali, English

OBSERVATIONS:

1) They have modern facilities with professional staffs.
2) Total Taka 5800/- paid in cash equivalent to CAD 95/-.
3) Time required 2.5 hours, a bit slow service
4) Test done: blood work, chest x-Ray, pressure, weight, height , urin ,eye & ECG
5) ECG bed was very dirty, no paper roll provided, same linen are being used!! Horrible!!
6) They have e-Medical facility but needed a passport sized photo

My report will be sent directly to CIC on Sunday next.
Hey Hasan
Do you know how they send the report? They told my wife that they send it online. Is that how they send it? She did her medical same place where you did yours. Also did they email you proof of your medical?

Hello Zee,

If you want to know about your medical report update, you can call the clinic. The clinic will tell you when they update your wife medical report to Singapore. I did my medical 21 April 2016 and I call the clinic 23 April 2016 to know my medical report. Remember one thing if any applicant has problem in their medical report the clinic will call the applicant and inform that his or her medical report is not OK. Even if any applicant medical report is not OK the clinic will not sent the applicant report to Singapore. I will advise you if you have any doubt ,your wife can call the clinic to know about her medical report. As my case I am a little bit nervous about my medical report because I feel tension in all my immigration matter. That’s why I call the clinic and that morning the clinic told me that they already update my medical report and I have no problem in my medical report. After 11 days later Singapore sent me passport request.

Hope it will help you

Regards
Farhana

Hey Farhana
Thanks for the update. I already did those. She did her medical on 24th and i made my wife call them on 25th to make sure everything is ok. She actually spoke to the doctor and the doctor said her report is good. So we already took care of those. I also made her call yesterday again to confirm if they sent it to Singapore or not. They said they will send it online. Today She called again and they said they still didn't send it but will send it tomorrow. She actually did a medical when she first applied and then they actually gave her a certificate which proves that you did medical and the certificate also has her pictures. This time she didn't get it but only thing she got is a receipt. Thats another reason i made her call yesterday and they said they suppose to email my wife that certificate which i still didn't get it. This is what i mentioned to Hasan. It is important that everyone gets their medical done gets the Certificate which proves you did your medical. The receipt is just a piece of paper and it proves nothing. The certificate have your UCI number and all the information.
The certificate kinda looks like this which my wife received first time she did her medical from the clinic back in March 2015. Obviously her medical is expired and that's why she is doing it again.
Here is the link to see how it looks. thanks

Last time I got the certificate as Zaheed mentioned. I tried several times to call this doctor's office but no one picks up! This facility lacks professional people. May be I will go there tomorrow to collect a copy.

I have been asked to share my expereince after my husbad's visa to Canada was denied. So here goes.....if you have questions please ask, I am willing to share whatever info I can.

to start our first application was denied in January 2007 the reason given were (1) could not show the valitity of our marriage ( 2) after recent circumstances we ( immigration) feel there has been a major change to your situation. My husband had already gone through the interview process and we thought his visa was on the way, then he was called for a second interview they gave him about a 2-3 day notice of the interview, so he went and at the interview an immigration officer asked him some more questions. there was a lot of focus on our recent circumstances ( if you don't know the story jsut ask) and when she was done interviewing she left the room and came back in about 5 minutes and said I'm sorry Mr. **** we are goning to refuse your application and that was the end of that. She asked him to leave and if he had any questions he should contact his sponsor.

I was already in Puerto Plata so when he told me this we started to ask many questions we found it really hard to get into immigration without an appointment to talk to someone when we explained that I was there from Canada and was leaving in a few days someone felt sorry for us and booked an immiediate appointment. WE spoke with an officer and he informed us that the decison was finally and our option was to appeal. All I am going to say on here is about that is it was an awful expereince and if you want more details PM me. So I flew back to Canada contacted many lawyers who all said the same thing find an immigration specialist lawyer, I contacted my MP who said he would look into it, I finally got in contact with an immigration lawyer in Calgary who I met with a few times and provided all the information. He informed me that an APPEAL is very very expensive and are very rarely granted, his suggestion was to reapply.

I spoke with my husband and he spoke with a lawyer in the DR who agreed to reapply was easier and said it woudl then prove that we really wanted to be together. So we started our new application in Mar of 2007 and my husband was granted his visa without an interview the 2nd time and arrived in Canada July 2008. So my advice skip the appeal process and go right into a 2nd application. And FYI I involved my MP right from the beginning on my 2nd application. Good luck to you all and like I said if you have other questions or want more personal details just ask or PM me. Hope this was helpful
